I haven't played Ascension and the guy's other mods, but that Lara Croft sprite seems very similar to the one in SW Dark Woods level. And since SW (and Duke), no matter what some think, are games with strong legacy and history, any references to them are legit. Check this though. For all the Duke fandom, very few actual Duke mods are being made. Blood has a much smaller community and mods/map packs are being released all the time. Same with Quake. There's just a dark cloud hanging over you guys and it could be so much better, if the biggest Duke & Build engine resource was managed more professionally. My honest feeling about what is going on in that study is that people agreeing with that statement are more likely to be from traditional cultures, many of them immigrants from outside of Europe. A school is from a specific geographical area and its students tend to have a cultural connection, coming from the same neighborhoods. Cultural influence is powerful and can't be adequately accounted for by controlling for more generic socioeconomic factors. Controlling for religiosity for example, won't cut it.
