In Serbia, standard bread costs about 40-45 RSD (Serbian Dinars) Though i miss when it costed 25 RSD only. Salary is shit, and prices are too high, nobody is denying that.

Serbia is poor and exhausted by Yugoslav break up wars and NATO Bombing that all happened during 1990s.

I am just tired of people, man. I used to blame the elites i.e. wealthy business owners, government officials, globalists and what-have-you, but these days everyone has access to the internet and can learn what reality is. Other people are not like that.

Really it's the people that always have the power, but since we can never unite, and most of us are too stupid to realize how life really works, we are just slaves in the end to vast systems and power structures beyond our comprehension. That's what I hate.

The anti vaxxers are stupid as a whole because they can't even understand the studies they supposedly read, and same goes for the mainstream NPC's who side with authority because they want to trust that our leaders have our best interests at heart. Both sides have idiots, but within both sides, there is also the truth. Not in the "middle" , like there is some magical middle position, but sometimes the truth is on the extremes of both, etc. It's really hard to tease out the truth of anything in life, so I hate when someone goes "oh these people are 100% wrong" because no single group or individual has a complete objective view of reality. Everyone and everything is a flawed pile of shit, and you have to look through a microscope to find those little kernels of objectivity.

Honestly man this whole COVID thing feels apocalyptic to me. I don't trust anyone anymore and I'm just ready to physically fight anything that forces me against my will to take a drug that hasn't been properly tested, or to live under some repressive regime wearing a muzzle in public while there is a massive transfer of wealth going on from the poor to the rich. Anyway, on personal level I didn't mind the lockdown - the first few months of working (mostly) remotely were possibly the most fruitful in my professional career, as I could use up my time much more efficiently - less talking and bullshit meetings, more actually getting shit done.

Of course on a broader perspective I see all the downsides of the pandemics and how the governments handled the situation (although I'd rather blame it on the politicians' incompetence rather than elaborate conspiracy).

We moved into lockdown on the 17th of August from 1 community case, we now have 210 community cases, 60 from the past 24 hours, with 12 in hospital. New Zealand has 2 Islands, the South Island has no cases so far but it is still in our highest lockdown level along with the rest of NZ.
