There are lilypads and stuff on the water too, so the water can't be too grimy I'd think.

Whatever you guys do, please try to make the new update compatible with EDuke32 builds that include the FOV slider. This new feature, so far, has largely minimized my headaches while playing.

I wish we could unfortunately the newer builds are prone to crashing when playing with AMC TC. James could probably fill you in on it more on what the general issues are.

I've been rando-sampling the latest builds.

It's not so much the crash issue (other than eduke32 dumping straight to the desktop when trying to use anything other than classic).


There are a lot of bugs (the problem with trying to surface from transparent underwater tror, the difficulty trying to jump into vent shafts when at walk speed (which is also a problem with the newer eduke32s that affects vanilla Duke3d, but was never fixed), and feature breaking code changes in the newer snapshots, because of changes to event definitions and names

It's for rendering sprites. Going for classic and polymost as renderers with some high res sprites avaiable for 32bit. IMO anything 3D but voxels is too high poly for the build engine.

That looks fantastic. About the only thing I would change is to put just 1 more scratch on the front. :dukecigar:

Nice find! Yeah he left the community years ago as he lost interest in gaming.

Those AMC Ep. 4 shots looks absolutely fantastic! :dukecigar:

I'm still working on the next Shaky Grounds, having a summer break right now (going to Croatia for 2 weeks).
This map will mostly take place outside (as opposed to the previous installment). Here's a little WIP shot.
