Not really. DukePlus has a bunch of models. Otherwise, you can download some model packs here:
http://www.md2.sitters-electronics.nl (md2 format, which should be converted to md3)
or here:
http://www.blackrayne.net/ (all in md3 format)
and maybe here:
http://gamebanana.com/models (but I´m not sure if these are in md3)

You can also convert models to md3 with Blender (there´s an export plugin somewhere here).

Well there´s always this point of a map, in which it can be anything. It could be a two days project that ends in nothing ir it could be my best map.

WIP Fusion screen, this map is to be populated with quite some more decoration, just like what it's based on. I've not stopped working on Fusion during these months, but too much real-life stuff and work has caused progress to become very slow.

There's always that point in the day where you drift past the Duke3D folder and observe Mapster32.exe, at this point a map could be anything, a masterpiece, a pieceashit with Tile 0 everywhere or vaporware.

But I'm awesome so up-vote me anyway. :blink:

I was just about to write you on moddb today if your project is still in development. Great to see that it´s not dead.

Made an interesting "blue shadow lizman" with red eyes.
Something not from this dimension.

They are powerful monsters, we don't see them but when we get too close of "dimensional fractures" they appear out of nowhere and attack you.
They move incredibly fast, as fast as the player running about.

Now I'm working on replacing that lizman feces by something else.. So instead of shitting it drops somekind of an energy orb that multiply (wont tell more about it).

Will show just one picture of it.

I just hope that you don't get disappointed again if the download count doesn't get up to a level that you had hoped for. Although if the framerate is significantly improved, that alone would be a nice boost.

If only we could tap into some of the popularity of DNF 2013 or just the general DNF craze to get some noteworthy popularity for DNE.

well yeah iam gunna have to "sell" it again with a new trailer, focus on texture enahncements, TROR

actually i was quite happy with my download count. it was just the first day the moddb download f'ed up and i missed the boat so to say, i emailed the dude and he made sure it got proper publicity and got to #1

if you want to make a page that has a bunch of other mods links on it feel free to make one and i'll add it to the launcher?

I think we need to resell the whole engine, the best way would be to include an option in megaton that would be a button that opens a checklist to preinstall mods DNF2013 / WGR2 / DNE / etc you wouldn't exactly be selling the games as they are just optional just a different way to distribute, you can still get them free no worries, its not like the moddb pages would just disappear.

I think a lot of us would like to get on a huge distro like steam just to even start making a name for ourselves and what we can do with what would be dismissed as archaic tech, and with this wanky 8-bit indie revolution thingo a new engine that still feels like old times would be a great selling point.

the old days of DNE would trip my power supply and turn off my whole computer

been doing a play through taking screenies of things i want to fix, and damn it just runs GOOD all the time now
