It does seem like the kind of game that would work on a mobile platform.

First time I've seen that controller.

The controller seems to make the whole thing way too wide to be comfortable but it is called the Moga Ace Power and is the first iOS 7 controller, probably to have the new API http://www.macrumors...-now-available/

It amazes me how expensive controllers for phones are. I have a Xbox 360 afterglow controller that I got for $27 and a $1 On the go cable for android and I can play almost all the games I have with them...

Woah! *checks wallet* Err, I think I'll just stick to the version of DN: MP on Steam for now. :D

I guess this is ok if it's going to help fund development of a new game. Manhattan Project has already been ported twice recently, though.

I don't want to see another goddamn port of a Duke Nukem game. Seriously. I'm sick of this lazy cash-grabbing horse shit already.

I own all the original Duke games three times now. I'm done. Posted Image

I hope it isn't a bad port like Duke Nukem 2 was though, inside layers of emulation and the game itself was sped up to deal with slow downs...

Didn't interceptor get in contact with that guy who's working on a Duke Nukem 2 exe written from scratch? If so they might eventually update it to replace the emulation with a native version of the game.

That was Duke Nukem 1... And they never released Duke Nukem 1 for iOS even though it was within the files of Duke Nukem 2.

I'm personally excited for this.

We did have a license to do this Port, but we decided to hand it over to another developer, as we want to focus exclusively on Ascender.
We don't have any mobile plans atm. Duke 2 was a small Test for us, do get to know iOS development a bit better, and to see how much we could customize emulation.
We are quite proud of it, even if it's an emulation.

Can you tell us who that other developer is or is that all hush hush? Also does this mean that Pathfinder has been cancelled and/or put on hold?

And from the look of it, the touchscreen controls are absolutely horrible. This might explain why Scott "leave the ship before it sinks" Miller uses the $100 add-on controller.

Hi everyone,

My name is Diogo, I'm from Spawn Studios, the developer that ported DNMP to iOS (and Mac).

I just want to say that the controls don't suck :D

Seriously, try it. I know people like to beat the dead horse, not liking Duke Nukem is fashion now since Forever... Actually, this is the best Duke Nukem for a smartphone / tablet. It's easy to see why.

Is it on Android?

No...

It sucks.

I agree, Android sucks..

DISCLAIMER: This is my technical opinion. Android is a perfectly good OS from a user standpoint, actually it would be the best on the planet if iOS dind't exist.

Considering I have to use both, I can make this call.

Now as most others have said, the controls look horrible. So instead of just posting "I just want to say that the controls don't suck" post some sort of evidence of this.
We are all the real critics here so you need to convince us.

I think I'm being charged with failed humour attempt or something... My intentions were to smoothly establish a conversation and offer you guys a promo code so you could try for yourself instead of looking at some pictures on the internet. Anyway, it seems that you already decided so, never mind, it would be a waste of a Promo Code.

You realise that some random stranger's respect over the Internet means absolutely nothing to me, right?

This forum is too serious. No sense of humour and too many videogame experts demanding proof.

Enjoy each other, mr. Mod, please delete my account, I'm on my way out.
