That's the problem right there.

Apparently they switched from the Unreal Engine to the Frostbite engine for this. Any particular reason why? I'm under the impression the publisher owns the company that made the engine and so they wouldn't have to pay Epic royalties?

I think EA is trying to make most or all their developers use Frostbite as Dice made it.

Every chick in this game is hideous. As Commander Shepard of the SSV Daddy Issues, I busted many a nut in Liara and Jack. More nuts than a man can count. High quality, thick, slimy nuts.

The only thing in this game receiving my seed is it's torrent.

True PC gamers are manufacturing their own parts. You're not PC gamer if you don't have GPU with 160GB of VRAM and that is just a minimum.

I have 1,024 ATI Rage Pros in SLI alongside 16 smegmabytes of memory. Come at me faggot.

I wonder how they going to ruin turian chick which is probably the only interesting and not absolutely ugly as sin character in this piece of shit they call a game.

There was already a Turian chick in the Omega DLC for ME3, a.k.a. the greatest mission put into any game, ever. Who care about that vapid cunt?

Hmmm, the lead facial animator for Andromeda was a female cosplayer with little video game development experience and her demo reel opens up with "I hate men".

THERE IT IS!!!!!!

I can't wait to play this. It's going to be like an interactive version of "The Room" for the Sega CD.

Wow! Every single day Panderomeda continues to look more guilty of cancer pandering on top of looking just shit, an unused, non hideous version of female Ryder was found in the game's files and modded back into the game.

Why do you keep coming into the thread spewing random nonsense, the alternate model was found when the game is set to French for some odd reason. I'm all for pointing out the flaws in the game but do it properly.

Because Mass Defect Panderomeda's screw ups are just too funny.

Also thanks for pointing that out, I didn't know about it being the french version.

You can't fuck her. If you can't fuck her it doesn't count.

As someone who is actually tired of characters being always perfect and attractive (not to mention outfits that don't make practical or any other sense in so many games), I'd totally support that - shame that characters in ME:A instead of looking as normal/plain/realistic people are starting to look almost as bad as uncanny valley dolls.

Also here's my fav walk cycle from Andromeda:

Perfect and attractive? In the West? You must be kidding me. Western developers are huge pussies, they don't make attractive characters, let alone perfect. The only recent example I can think of is Witcher 3 which I wouldn't call perfect honestly, attractive but not perfect. If I'm tired of anything, it's ugly as hell characters from Western games.

Witcher 3 is from a Polish developer, not a Western one.

Atractiveness is a relative thing, I've meant "perfect" as in lacking imperfections, not ideal beauty - great skin, no quirks in proportions, characters that supposed to be hand-to-hand fighters without a single broken nose or a chipped tooth, etc. I don't think everything should always be super realistic, games are often a getaway/fantasy after all, but I feel that leaves a ton of tools that could used to add even more interest and definition to a character left unused, because they would compromise their attractiveness.

Although I guess what I've said mostly applies to female characters - looks like having warts, being ugly, scared, skinny or obese are visual traits that are actually used in male character designs, I wonder why

I agree that there's way less characters designed with being attractive/sexy taking highest priority in western games - I think it's a result of an ongoing change and I think it's the step in the right direction. I'm not in favor of making everyone "ugly" - I just hate when "sexy" takes priority over common sense and suspension of disbelief (stupidity like armor bikinis, or tits or ass up the camera pose in a context that makes absolutely no sense) and I wouldn't mind things being a bit more diverse, since that adds interest. Although that has to be done as well - for example I hate adding minority characters just for the sake of adding a minority character, usually that results in a token character or a walking stereotype - which doesn't make a compelling character nor broadens your horizon.

How is what he said "random nonsense"? What did he say that was wrong, exactly?

From my experience: if the only reason for a bad situation or a shitty result someone is willing to accept is "pushing an agenda", it's highly likely they're pushing an agenda themselves

Also from my experience: if someone really pushes an agenda through their product/art/whatever the quality of said product/art/whatever usually sucks, no matter what's the agenda.

Conspiracies aside, the games does like the animation qa went out the window and that reel posted previously is really amateurish.

Who said it was the only reason? But it's clear that Bioware has an agenda. They are hiring based on ideology and not merit.

Or they have low standards for "merit" and ideology crept in. We can't tell for sure without non-public information, unless you can show me evidence I don't know about.

Are you saying that people who are really fucking good at their jobs wouldn't want to work on a Mass Effect game?

#83

Its shit cuz its the c team

EA seems to be trying to make a quick buck on me and forcing underexperienced people to work on a AAA game

Iirc, a team (mass effect trilogy) is working on a new ip, and b team is working on TOR, c team has only really worked on shit like the me3 mp iirc

People that were leads on the ME series (and some people who worked on Dragon Age: Inquisition) left the studio during the development of Andromeda.

You're talking about the West like a cultural bloc, right? Then they've got a lot more in common with other (Eastern) ex-Warsaw Pact Slavonic-speaking countries (like Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania) than with Western countries such as Germany, Netherlands, Britain, etc...

This shit is quite old, but worth mentioning, because lack of self-awareness and hypocrisy are the best parts of mentally ill lefties and I hate that this American scum ruined short haircuts with their faggotry.

My favorite part of course:

Quote

Many believe this is an injustice by BioWare because Cora looks super gay because of her haircut.

Also, gotta say she has really good ass. Too bad even animations of sex scenes are shit, guess people have to wait for a better stuff from animation porn makers who do their stuff ten times better and most importantly for free. What's worse, they didn't even show nude turian chick, what a waste.
