Either that or reduce the size of the letters and risk them being unreadable ^^ But that's not really useful since "hot" is an accepted word in French especially in that context ...

En effet j'avais pas remarqué :

1_ "Apocalypse Lunaire" passerait mieux.

2_ J'aurrais plutôt mis "En Tournage" au lieux de "Silence Dans la salle"

3_ J'aurrais mis "Bientôt" au liex de "A Venir"

Looking at a screenshot of the difficulty settings selection screen of the French PS1 version, they translated "skill" by "habilete", which is not the right meaning of the word in this context.

I think it's obvious here that the people who did the translation either didn't know anything about games, or just had to translate lines of text out of context (and another person would take care of putting it into the game). This was sadly VERY common back then, even text heavy games would have this kind of treatment.

This still doesn't excuse the bad translation seen in some of those sprites and textures though.

(Sorry, I understand French a little but I'm pretty bad at writing it)

If you guys get all the sprites and stuff ripped, I'd love to see a proper French translation with fixed sprites etc.

pour les niveaux de difficulté, j'opterais dans l'ordre (pour être fidèle à l'estprit de Duke Nukem Forver) : Trop facile ! < C'est parti ! < Tu vas prendre ! < Je suis trop fort !

Au fait HotmiamMan, je t'ai envoyé les fichiers de la version Megaton de Duke 3D (ou dumoins le moyen de les télécharger) en MP

I'm a little confused here which sprites are from the PS1 version and which are your edits.

For the difficulty settings, "DU GATEAU !" ca me parait bien, pas besoin d'aller cherche plus loin comme ça colle à l'image d'origine.
