I'm looking for sprites I can use for Duke holding two chainguns at once. I'm adding a doubled weapon perk for a mod. In most cases, drawing a second copy of the weapon mirrored does the trick, but not for chaingun. No matter how I draw them, either the angle of the barrels is wrong or Duke's hands are reversed. So, is there existing art out there for this?

Doubled chaingun sprites?

There is the mirrored version of the Doom minigun sprites.
I saw it used for the Dukeboat.
I was playing around with them for Part 3 of Typical day and it seems to work ok, but not sure how it looks from the perspective you want.

Those are minigun sprites, though, what I need is a duel wield version of the ripper from Duke 3D.
The idea is that the player buys a doubled weapon perk, and then every weapon in the game is doubled. I already have the battlelord minigun as a separate weapon from the ripper in this mod.

Here we go. This will be good enough:
The other weapons should be easier.

Looks like he's operating some kind of mech lol
It's fucking retarded, because the chaingun cannon is really a two-handed weapon, but doubling two-handed weapons is one of those retarded things that we do in over-the-top Duke mods

Absolutely not!
Here, try this. It might need some extra editing, but I think this will look better. Duke will be holding the triggers of the guns, but no longer the handles.
Credit osjclatchford for the handless handles he made for a handless lameduke ripper gun. I just put it together like this.
First image is the right handed one, which is the default Ripper. Second image is the left handed Ripper, and it might need some work done on the side without the handle, but it should look a little more like what you'd expect it to look like if Duke was holding 2 rippers.

That's nice, but I have to move on or I won't get it done. Your version would work by drawing two different gun sprites, instead of having one and flipping it. With the need to cut out the sprites and add hands on separately, there's a significant amount of more work involved, and risk, if the hands don't look right.
EDIT: here I think it looks better with the guns farther apart but angled in like this

IMO it would look more natural if Duke was holding them so that his hands were on the outer sides rather than between the guns. If that takes more than a minor amount of work, then the appearance in the video will do the job.

I interpret the Guns Akimbo pickup from Blood as having some kind of otherworldly nature. If you make your perk the same way, you don't have to bother with special art.
EDIT: Or, don't show hands and have Duke carry them from underneath, where the trigger is. That grip just looks painful.

Now that I have angled them and moved them apart, I think it looks pretty decent with hands on insides. With hands on outsides, I fear it would look like one big gun rather than two.

I got a weird feeling about Duke being left-handed by that pic.
