I think it looks pretty cool as well. Do you think its as cool as the Duke Nukem 3D devastator?

As long as it lives up to its name, hell yea!

To be honest, to me that looks like every other generic Doom / Quake-engine based weapon these days. All smooth and shiny... I can't stand that look any more.

The old devestator looked positively evil, with sharp lines and dull quasi-futuristic colouring. I really loved the way that looked. It was almost like some kind of crazy steampunk weapon - you could half expect steam to vent out the plating after a few shots.

I agree, the devastator should be blocky and sharp...thats what it was all about.

To me it looked at though the missiles fly faster in DNF than Duke 3D. That'd be more practical in multiplayer for sure. Any other opinions about the speed of the projectiles?

Wonder what that annotation was referring to. Is that dude by any chance confusing "leaking videos" with "speaking an opinion"?

Believe me, there's a playable 360 port of the game. There's even a screenshot of it here somewhere in these forums if you look hard enough.

Don't go looking for where it came from, though. It disappeared soon after I started mentioning it and it's likely that it will disappear from this thread as well. :P
