Among other spoilers, there is confirmation for some characters.

There it goes, a fucking masterpiece directly into the trash bin. This won't resurrect, unless somebody (call him George) decides leaking in into the internet, which is not gonna happen.

If they want to hold back the game until they get more funds and update the game... then don't count with me to wait for it.

Duke Nukem Forever has gone directly to the grave, along with 3D Realms.

Looking at some of the shots, it looks like the game did have a little fair bit of freeform like the levels in Duke3D

Either that, or vehicle levels like HL2

Looks really good. Varied it atleast is. For me, these screenshots don't really do the game any justice(or any game for that matter). Sounds and animation are so big part of the whole experience. That's why the demoreel was the best part released so far.

Would have loved to see some multiplayer stuff, but I guess that's again asking for something you can't have

not only 3DR closing but now i dont think anybody will pick it up and push it out either... its over. i wish i had given up on DNF long ago so i wouldnt give a fuck now.

EDIT: i will just try to forget it all and return back to my ordinary workflow as it was a week earlier... DNF is over.

It's your own choice to read the excel.
I myself am not going to read it, id rather play through it if this game ever gets picked up by another dev or 3DR finds some money to finish it.

I haven't read it either but it's not important. The point is, the plot for the entire game is leaked. 3DR always said they don't want to spoil too much with media. Now EVERYTHING is spoiled. Even if we haven't read it, it's out there. That basically means there's no point in hiding it because it won't be released...

I dunno, are that many gamers really that interested in plot, especially in a Duke game? And in seriousness, how much of DNF's potential customer-base do you think will find and read that document? To pick a number out of thin air, lets say 25,000.

Minus Duke fans who would happily buy it anyway
= 20,000
Minus casual gamers who only play for gameplay
= 10,000
Minus people who'll COMPLETELY forget everything they've read by the time the game is picked up, finished and released by a new dev

Ok, so it's pretty clear I know absolutely nothing and have pulled all of those numbers completely out of my arse, but you get my point. It's a shame that the plot got leaked, but I don't think this particular issue will be the death of DNF any more than any of the other bizarre things that have happened over the last few days.

Anyways, The Casino looks like its made for GIANTS. The other shots look super awesome though.

The casino isn't for giants, duke is just small.

And for the spoiler part; Yes, screenshots spoil the virgin experience of the game!
But, if the plot is on the net it would be the same as people posting the plot after just finishing the game.
