I don't know if we are talking about the same area of the map, there is a spot that you can just jetpack out the map I showed it in that let's plays of ours

I don't really want to bump a topic about Duke Xtreme but a couple of things (that I kind of forgot about):

In your readme.txt "You'll also need a copy of the Duke Xtreme GRP file, which should be named "EX.GRP". " Duke Xtreme doesn't come in .grp form as far as I know. Both my Xtreme and Duke Apocalypse discs are within folders that have the data separated. The edited con files from the Add-on guide are mine and I should know because some of the level names are wrong :lol:

The other thing is that some of the new enemy spawns in maps don't trigger properly. EXANAGON.map for example has two Gorilla Captains that should spawn in this area:

I'll update the readme and I'll see if I can get those gorillas to spawn there later when I have a chance to look at it. Thanks for letting me know. As for there being a GRP file, you're right about the game not coming with one. However, that's not to say there isn't one that exists. I'll leave it at that. :lol: I'll reword what I said about it.

Edit: I went ahead and fixed the Exanagon map. Only in the full version, though.

Sorry couldn't find the other megaton forum just want to say I think I'm done with Megaton Edition having to many problems with it

Server Time Out
when a game starts barley up for 8 secs
sometimes the lobbie freaks up after game ends
and that other thing is still in there

I have to say it Old EDuke32 Runs A whole lot better, it may have some downs like ammo not re-spawning in coop but aleast it runs alot better think the only two problems that we found so far in old eduke32 MP is the ammo not respawning and the instant death by alien

i managed to take the fixed maps and make them into a new GRP for Duke Xtreme and added the cons needed to play it within the rar file. to make things a bit better and not have a cluster of stuff to deal with. i've tried it out and it works fine

well. i left a download link to it directly, just click on the link and get it. to play it on Megaton, put the stuff into the gameroot folder, then go to your library of games and right click on Duke 3D Megaton and go to properties, then click on set launch options and put in duke3d.exe -gEX.GRP and it should work. you can go to the multiplayer level select thing to make sure cause the episodes and level names will be changed. and be sure to look out for the cobra snake & gorilla captain since there new enemies to make sure they aren't like babes out of place or something. for EDuke usage. put the stuff into your EDuke folder and drag the stuff to the EDuke launcher and it should play
