TortoiseSVN question

I am hopefully a few days away from releasing my project and I am doing some last minute cleanup and organizing.

I want to grab all the loose sound, .art and map assets in the root folder and put them in one "assets" folder. I tested that it will work by SVN exporting the project as is and then group the files as planned and everything works fine.

But before I do that same regrouping in my main SVN working copy I just want to make sure that all I have to do is create that assets folder and then drag and drop the files in there just like I did with the exported version. At this final stage I don't want to make a stupid error.

NEVER MIND: I took a chance and did it. I found out that instead of moving the files to the assets folder I should have copied instead and then deleted the originals. Because after moving the files to the new folder Tortoise SVN showed that the files were now missing from their original place. In the end I have it all working now but it didn't go as smoothly as I was hoping.
