He succumbed to advanced kidney disease which started sometime in Q3 2020 I'm going to guess. Lost half his body weight in the process.

I don't know what more one could reasonably do to establish that one's death wasn't suicide. I suppose it could still be a suicide and he was trolling with the post and tattoo, but I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If I were to commit suicide, I'd do exactly that - convince everyone that I have no intention whatsoever of committing a suicide, then let everyone wonder. Probably would try for a more subtle way myself though - but then again, if he was in prison, he didn't have that much options of subtlety. After the extradition ruling, he would spend the rest of his life in prison anyway.

I have little reason to believe that McAfee wasn't trolling. Making a huge scene about how he wasn't going to commit suicide when the plan was to kill himself, only to cause controversy one last time, would be a very McAfee thing to do.

The guy was a complete nut case with a massive ego. It's not at all surprising that he had to have one last bout of attention prior to his death. Whether it was via suicide or not, the general public will probably never know but as was already mentioned he was 75 and would have spent the rest of his life in prison after being extradited.

I'm not gonna jump to the conclusion that he faked a suicide. That said, there's something off about it.

Truly sad if Near committed suicide because of Kiwi Farms. If this is true, this wouldn't be the first time that Kiwi Farms drove someone to suicide.
