Monster placement was good too, unlike his previous E1M8b where it was all over the place.
My main complain was that the level layout could have been a LOT more intuitive. A lot of it fell back on backtracking; finding section marked "4" after "3" was the worst.
Also when I found the 2nd blue sphere I had 193hp already...

We've seen most of these assets before in the brief teaser trailers, but seeing them play around for an hour gives you a much better feel for how the campaign will play. We see a few different areas, levels we haven't seen before. Looks badass

Honestly I feel like they do this to make gamers feel like video games have come a long way, that the new one looks much better now, and it's almost like they make those "remakes" look bad to support that idea.

The footage from the SP campaign actually looks like it could be a lot of fun. I just think it's a shame that they completely dropped the atmospheric stuff from Doom 3.
I get why they went for a faster pace, but it the creepy atmosphere seems to be completely lost. Hell in particular looks bland as... well, hell.
