This looks awesome. Is it compatible with the veteran edition?

It requires GZDoom, but you can use the veteran edition strife1.wad with GZDoom.

It must can use, because Strife: Veteran Edition's Strife1.WAD is the same as the one from original Strife.
(SVE's exclusive wad wasn't and only worked on that EXE comes with the game)

Since SVE engine wasn't ZDooM-based so you can't run the mod with SVE for sure, do not trying to do that, it won't works.

I joke, I like the HRP. But this looks pretty horrible.

Rather a strange movie if you ask me. If you wanted secrecy then trusting the general public with access to a 'Closed' alpha build and expecting them all to adhere to an NDA is crazy.

I'm just trying to imagine Id Software attempting to round up a few thousand neckbearded gamers into civil court for "damages" from leaking their precious alpha build.

No way that would ever work. If you trust average people with something you feel should be kept under wraps then you can almost guarantee that it won't be hidden for long. QA companies will keep secrets because their staff are paid and breaking NDAs results in dismissal, but John Q. Public has no real reason to stay quiet unless they are reprimanded for not doing so.

Unless they give me an actual NDA to sign, they can fuck right off. Bethesda clearly doesn't seem to know how a real NDA works. I should know- I've had to go through the real paperwork when I got the Terminal Velocity/Fury3/Hellbender sources.

It's retarded. I doubt clicking the agree button in a ToS screen "count" in court. And how many kids have signed it?
