@Bubble Gum Chewer

Thank you for the clarification on this matter. I couldn't find any details on this in the online help, but I figured as much it would be probably related to the personal post count.

Star Wars Battlefront II (EA's version) Celebration Edition is free on Epic for the next week. However, you must link your Epic account with your Origin account. After doing so, you MUST launch the game via the Epic launcher which launches the game through Origin. You cannot download or launch the game just from Origin. Which is a whole new level of EA-ness I've never seen before. So, you get a free game...for the price of not one but TWO DRM clients.

i'll say watch out now, i've installed the yesterday's game (Darkopsis or something), the installation was "apparently" smooth and clean, after the installation you'll be prompted to "Falconware.com", so far nothing to really worry about, then you'll find out that on your desktop there are new shortcuts of softwares you never asked for "Falconware" and something else, i've immediatelly went in the file paths of those programs (checked AppData Local and Roaming as well) surprise surpise, deleted everything that installer added.

The game worked at least, just watch out or you may end up getting unwanted toolbars on your browsers and your PC stuffed of crap.

I hope so. I imagine so...but I've seen worse things happen. I just did it right away to be safe.

No problem at all, i've deleted them before they could do soething, they were not to invasive (but can become).
If you find a decent piece of software for free on that website, may be worth a try, indeed i gave a look at some more stuff, but usually Premium softwares like, get an expiration time.

Something i wish to share; today i randomly landed on g2a.com, and i found out that there are interesting discounted CD keys for many things, videogames, Windows etc...
As i did not bought Blood: Fresh and Supply yet (and the cost is ridicolusly low there), i decided to gave it a try, redeemed on Steam and it worked like a charm.
Noticed that there is the Steam key for the original version; One Unit Whole Blood as well, i dont know if it will work with that one but it is very cheap like some Unreal Tournament titles, unlike on Steam.
Well, for some other games i recommend to wait Steam's discounts to get an even more cheaper price, or just compare them befor to buy.

A similar website is g2play.net, looks like there is even the Steam key for Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, but i did not bought anything there, and that key is insanely high priced, so if somebody is fanatic enough can try it at its own risk https://forums.duke4.net/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

G2a is semi trustworthy.
Kinguin is yet another flavor.

But these are key resellers, and alot of the keys are gotten through shady means.

And nothing goes to the developer.

I do use it for abandonware games like prey (2006), idk, it feels better then downloading cracked version.

Fanatical and humblebundle sometimes have good discounts and money actually goes to the devs.

Humblebundle has been shitty ever since ign bought it though.

https://alternativelike.com/fanatical/

Nice lil' list, most aren't resellers.

https://isthereanydeal.com/
This website is great.

And so is
https://www.cheapassgamer.com/
To check for deals.
