You can't look at the lines about the wall-boobs or the queen-boobs without having a look at the other characterzations of Duke.

For me the Holsom twins for example were one of the worst parts of the game. They are right at the start of the main game (after hte videogame sequence at the start). And it immediately killed the mood for me because I (taking the role of Duke in this case) would never even come close to dumb and stupid bimbos like them. And if I had this kind of bimbos in my appartment I'd immediately threw them out of the window to remove them from the genepool (exaggerating, of course).
The original Duke could have said a line like the wall-boob line because he was so different from the jerk that enjooyed having people like the twins around him.

Fortunately the writers of "The Doctor Who cloned me" learned from their mistakes and made Duke moan in disgust when he hears the lines from the twins in the toy-car which at the same time depict the twins as a parody of white trash chicks and showing what is wrong with those kind of girls and their families.
In TDWCM it was Dylan sort of taking the role Duke had in the main game. That had worked much better.

Some small pieces of fan service I'd like to see return that DNF forgot are things like the Nuke symbol exploding before getting to the menu and of course Duke speaking the difficulty modes.

I think the smut in DNF hadn't been so bad if it was optional. But now you have to go through the twins scene, the fetch-quest in the stripclub, the lapdance etc. The glory hole thing was optional, but it wasn't exactly hidden. Then the marketing (including the cover) made everything worse by focusing almost exclusively on the sexual stuff. I had the same issue with Dylan, a forced "partner" doesn't fit Duke IMO. I hope in the next game they try to bring back some of the freedom from D3D.

fuegerstef, you make a good point. It's like they were trying to make him as edgy as possible but it just makes him come off as a pathetic college frat who's so obsessed with sex that he'll settle for anything that has boobs.

It's like DmC, only Duke doesn't drop the f bomb nearly as often. Of course, Dante atleast had the excuse of being an adolescent who would eventually grow into the more Badass version, Duke's supposed to be OLDER in Forever. I guess he was going through a mid life crisis and just wanted to appear cool.

The funniest thing about the gloryhole was that there was very clearly a dude in the next stall if you jumped up and took a look inside.

Maybe it's part of Duke's ego, which is further exaggerated in Forever? That, in his mind, his manhood is so perfect that even straight males want the chance to see it in all its glory? He DOES say "LOOK at MY ASS. Do it, NOW" and there's an assumption that the player he's speaking to is much more likely to be male, so...

Well, the Alloutofgum website is still up and the Facebook page is still there. This lawsuit was filed 10 days ago. They either wiggled their way out of it somehow or they're going along with the reveal anyway.

GBX sent the C&D on the 13th, 3DR replied on the 16th with (more) apologies and still nothing appears to have been changed, maybe 3DR wants to fight this.
