I was with you at first, but now I wanna rip off your head and shove it down your throat.
You're just about as unfunny as me.

Duke doesn't need a savior. Duke4 mappers and General Arcade have been doing a great job keeping Duke in players hands, both old and new.
There's barely any info on Mass Destruction. It could be great. It could be awful. The only thing people have to go on is a countdown website, Interceptor's track record and a brief blurb. That's it. Nobody would turn down an awesome new Duke game. It's too early to tell and, in the absence of any meaningful information, people are voicing their concerns - a consequence of doing a silly, near month-long countdown. Announcing early just means you have to win people over twice.
Personally, I think the worst thing you could do to Duke fans is tease them and make them wait. That should never happen again. It doesn't matter that if that means you'll initially have less Facebook likes or Twitter followers; let the game speak for itself and announce with a date. If you can't do that, stay quiet until you can.

It's not the theme of the music that is an issue, unless you count Ass as a theme. Duke 2 pulled off a rock version just fine. The problem is the sheer shittiness of making the original fanfare sound tinny and then dominating the second half with one single note that doesn't even try to follow the melody or incorporate its thematic potential.

Slap yo teeth out!
I'm not basing my view of Interceptor on this 12-second video. I'm presenting it as a rock-solid example of what they do wrong.

They're using the forum disinfo tactics by the book. They're doing this shit because they know it's policy not to ban people around here. Good thing they aren't people. Simians don't belong on the internet. Dis iz like anuddah shoah!

Why is it 3 and a half Constanzas instead of your proclaimed 2.5?

Ahh, it seems I failed on an epic proportions. How many Constanzas do I get?

You keep editing your post and you keep making it apparent you have no idea what you're talking about. Apogee only owns a license for those games. Once again, APOGEE AND 3DR ARE THE SAME FUCKING COMPANY. And of course Gearbox is on board, you fucktard. They own the IP.

Hahahah, it's like you're ignoring reality. Randy Pitchford is a piece of shit.

Because this thread just didn't have enough Costanzas.

EDIT: Which one would you rather see (or just the same thing with a different name and appearance) in Mass Destruction more: the Sentry Drone or the Protozoid Slimer?

Neither. Though those are "mainstays" of the franchise (which has mostly been a series of riffs on Duke 3D's success), they come from the Cycloid race. Anything from the Cycloids would be rehashing as usual. A fresh start to Duke would place him in a new environment altogether. A reskin of the same thing would be cheap.
EDIT: Did you seriously just change your avatar to the sentry drone image you linked earlier... Give me a break. I can only suspend my disbelief in your poor posting skills for so long.

I ran out of good pics to use as avatar, sorry. Yeah, I agree with your opinion too, but I see people getting angry and pissed that Duke 3D's arsenal and enemies are not returning or something for a new game. Also, wasn't the Sentry Drone manmade and the Slimer from the Rigelatins?

I love it.

No idea on the Sentry Drone, but if it were manmade, then it would have no business around the Kyrr. The green slime from Duke 2 escapes from glass jars and is far stronger than the one-hit slimer that hatches from an egg.

Retcon happens all the time.
Also, if given time and modding tools, would you mod for Mass Destruction?

Infinite? Sounds like quite the advertising spiel.
Basically, you're promoting it as if a moddable game bearing the Duke Nukem name will be some
Just keep in mind that no one would want to mod a turd. Don't put the carriage before the horse: Mass Destruction needs to be a good game first. I think that is within Interceptor's grasp.
Since when did Duke Nukem 1998 get shut down? I thought it just fizzled out. Could any of the original team members clarify?
And don't post any more images like that if you want to remain a member here.
