Genetic depression runs in my family. I was on "zombie pills" for a brief while after being confronted about attempting to off myself. And I will never listen to emo. ;)

I'm less worried about emo than Emu -- gah, there's one of my childhood fears! ;)

I always was emo. It was my destiny...

Anyway, I was feeling strange around last days of 2008. So I started researching this emo stuff. And it got me.

Can't be born emo. It's obvious now that...

Depression as a physical condition or more like a moody one?

I've remembered something. Once I went to job with black-colored nails. I can't believe I did that.

Probably I won't do that again. And right now I'm at a different job, with more people who are mostly 30+ men, but who knows... Need to find nail polish first.

I was once asked by a friend to buy him black nail polish. It was one of the more embarrassing things I did in Walmart. Being in Walmart was bad enough.. but the make up section.. and it was filled with cute high school girls.

Was it really that embarrassing? Neve would have thought. Well, it's unusual, but not that bad.

Young man walking into the womans section to get in line with girls and purchase black nail polish..

I wasn't exactly comfortable doing it. lol
I mean I wasn't about to go back to my friend and tell him I don't have the balls but it did make me uneasy. On the bright side some of the girls were scorching!1

Huh? Genetical depression is what he said. Take a guess.

I was asking only about his case at that exact time. Okay, that doesn't change the fact that you probably was right. But, I guess, sometimes he do have moody depression.

What's the difference between a moody depression and a physical depression? In fact, what IS a physical depression? The disease where your limbs somehow grow a mind of their own and refuse to co-operate with the rest of your body because they're depressed?

I suppose you're referring to a temporary vs permanent depression? But then what is your idea of a temporary depression? A kid who's feeling a bit down for a week doesn't really count.

No freaking way. As a closet-emo, you should know what you're talking about when it comes to depression. ;)

Just confused, didn't know there was a difference (except for the people who fake depression to look cool, which confuses me because it isn't).

I don't really know. I do know that some forms of depression need anti-depressants to pull the human out of this. Also, pretty common to call depression just a bad and downy mood that isn't affecting life to an extent of not doing anything at all. That's what I meant.

Isn't emo supposed to be a poser who knows nothing about the real depression that puts people in mental hospitals?

I wasn't aware that to be "really" depressed you have to be in a mental hospital.

@ lotan's emo = poser comment
"I woke up today.. my favorite ring is missing. My life sucks.. I'm gonna kill myself over this terrible tragedy... but I want people's attention.. so I'll just pretend to cut my self and throw a bandage on there... that time my dog died, I cut myself.. the scar will give me street cred in case people get suspicious... ... ... Oh the agony!!"

Btw, some people cut themselves while listening to music. No, not because they want suicide. Just some touch on the physical side on top of the emotional one. Oh, and the music not exactly emo. There is more depressing music out there. Though, it could be emo of course.

It's all in good fun. The crawling song is kinda just spammed on a bunch of "emo" clips and ytmnd files. Felt like a logical choice because of it's easily recognizable lyrics.
