It's being made by the same guys (http://en.wikipedia....ki/MachineGames) that made the first Riddick game. Looks very promising! As a Wolf 3D and RTCW fan, I'm looking forward to this!

What I mean is that I am not judging Shadow Warrior either until that gets a gameplay trailer too.

The devs have also talked about gameplay aspects like the health system, but I can't find the article with all the key facts right now.

I like the weapon that cuts a whole in the metal for sniping though.

sample
"Business man they drink my wine" or big corporation suck me dry
it's a subtle anti war/establishment/big brother song. It's time less.
And the game is, well, Wolfenstein, and the Nazis theme still sells ...

I checked for more details - it's FPS single player and sold via Gamestop, that needs a Steam client, which opens another can of worms, so I'll pass.
It's ironic you are fighting the imaginary nazies within a game and feed the real corporate pigs that are alive.

Is it that subtle? Wow.
Saw the gameplay footage. Really nice 2-weapon mechanic. Now, instead of gun filling 1/6 of screen we have 2 guns filling about 1/4. Brilliant.

What nazism has to do with corporations? "They're all bad" is hardly a viable political analogy in a game.

You are reading too much into my post - or were did I write they are all bad, or try to establish a political analogy?
Still, to answer your first part - The power structure of most corporation is dictatorship; it's not like employees can vote for a new boss. While the ideology of a Nazi is unlike that of a corporation, the aim to dominate is not.

That is such an inaccurate comparison it's not even funny.

We have BL for serious political discussions have we not?

Also, I hope they bring back Hitler in some form or another....he was noticeably absent in RtCW and Wolf '09. If the Nazis had prevailed during WWII, he easily could have still been alive in the 60s.

There are so many reasons why that wouldn't stop them from putting him in the new game.
A few:
1. From what I gather, none of the Wolf games share a structured storyline, i.e. no real ongoing plot.
2. One of the key story elements of previous games involved spirits, resurrection and the occult...so a dead fuhrer would probably be at the top of the list to bring back to life
3. It's just too damn cool- he was one of the most memorable parts of Wolf 3D, so even if my other two points weren't valid, this is reason enough alone to add him again....besides, other developers have done the exact same thing- reinstated a series staple even if it would blatantly contradict a previous sequence of events in an earlier installment.

As to "The New Order", I'm looking foward to this because the gameplay might be good and I'm a die-hard Wolfenstein fan, but I'm not getting the classic Wolfenstein feel that mix the old and the sci-fi or supernatural (nazi castles with supersoldiers, MP40s along with portable miniguns / veil-ray guns, etc). This one looks way too sci-fi.
Well, I guess all I want is another RTCW, heh. RIP Grey Matter / Xatrix.
