Coupons are not compatible with discounted items unless it is specified otherwise. I don't know where it would be specified, but I don't see why they'd send out coupons if the darn things couldn't be used.

Coupons can work with discounts if you look at the details on the coupon specifically. In this case, they do stack and it brings the base game down to $30.50

While I was offended by the secret they showed in the trailer, I'm still eager to play the game so I just went ahead and bought it for 38,24€ or $50.40.

I'm still on the fence. I'll probably pre-order it later. The price they are selling it at pre-order isn't bad compared to what a lot of other games go for at release. Honestly, $40 is what I used to pay for games at release when I was young and didn't have any bills but some income. I'm still on the fence. I'd like to see more of the game. A demo would go a long way with me.

It's not about the quality of the game. It's to do with the fact that I'm a tertiary student without a solid job, who probably wouldn't have the time to play it even if it was super fantastic.

The full priced game is 24,99€, pre-order for -15% which would equal 21,24€, and now that a lot of people are sharing -10% coupons on top of the -15% discounted price, you de facto buy the game for 19,12€.
Pre-oredering essentially grants you a near -25% discount. The first Steam discount is going to be -25% anyway, deep discounts may come at a later date if you are willing to wait.

Edit: Lunick apparently has already beaten me to it. Well, at least I can announce that I can share a coupon -10% if someone needs it.

What? The game is 35 Euro. with 15 % off it's 30 Euro. So a long way to 19 Euros even with 10 % on top of that. I mean if it was 19 Euros for preorder i would consider it. But it's like 20 % more. So i will surely have the patience for a 75 % off. Maybe christmas or next summer. I can wait

Haha, maybe i should get a Bulgarian friend so he can gift me games I basically pay most alongside Aus. people. Auch. I really can't afford 25 EU. I buy 15-20 EU games. If i can save by buying a 4-pack and splitting with friends i would do it. But Shadow Warrior remake didn't make any 4-packs so basically i would wait a long long time to buy it. :/

Shadow Warrior has quicksaves. https://twitter.com/...459963621806080 I really like Shadow Warrior's art direction. I felt Hard Reset had a great vibe, and they did expand upon it with the free DLC, but it was kinda samey.

I still gotta check out the enhanced Hard Reset, only played the original release. First I gotta finish SW Redux though, Twin Dragon is still missing. xD

The new SW will probably have linear gameplay again, with backtracking prevention and very limited exploration options. Anyway, it's about how well level designers are able to hide it (or compensate for it in a different way), and so far, I am confident this should be a very decent title with enjoyable gameplay. I don't care about story if it's fun to slash mobs and to check out different environments. And like I have said several times before, the Asian setting is more exotic than in "usual" shooters, so this is something anyone should be able to look forward to.

There's a chance they might add it some time after launch, not that I've heard anything, that was just speculation. However if they did add it, it would have to be rebalanced from the singleplayer, for example without the magical powers?

The thing is, would a multiplayer vs mode actually be good? The original had great deathmatch etc because it was so frantic and fast paced, however all the evidence suggests this remake has a slowed down pace, not to mention other issues that give it a negative light compared to a true hardcore 90's fps deathmatch shooter.
