Probably during Sony's presser, aren't Devolver Digital and Sony now a couple?

I think the sequel will be reveled during AMD and PC Gamer's E3 Panel since we already know Devolver will be attending.

yes.....

time to over-analyze shit - that looks like a Z as well as a two, and the techno-dragon says to me we're gonna be fighting Zilla (with a return to the tech style of the original's second half?)

Was that old guy in the trailer Master Leep?

IMO Hoji's death left a bit of a void that needs to be filled.

I hope it's not co-op only, I've personaly had my dose of Killing Floor / Left 4 Dead stuff.

“Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular procedurally-generated landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armor, and arcane relics of legend.”

So levels won't be hand constructed and instead be generated. Hmmm

Steam store page is up - the SP campaign is still there, the procedurally generated stuff sounds a bit confusing but I'm taking a guess and saying what it means is that only parts of levels are randomly generated (Guessing the shadow realm stuff?)

well yeah, just going off of the steam page which says "expansive campaign" so I only know as much as you do. Let's see what the reveal in a few day's time says.

EDIT:
Reading this:

Quote

Four Player Co-Op: Battle through the expansive campaign alone or team up as a four-player typhoon of destruction online in campaign co-op mode. Tackle challenging primary missions or thrilling side quests while maintaining your own ninja style with customizable armor, items, and valuable loot from your triumphs.

And then this:

Quote

Procedural Environments: The breach between the human and demon realms created an interdimensional hernia resulting in constant shifts to the world of Shadow Warrior 2. Procedurally generated landscapes and paths bring new twists and turns to once familiar terrain and routine missions.

I imagine that the levels will have a set design for the campaign, but you can do side missions or whatever and parts of it will be randomized for that. Maybe we're getting a hub system of sorts?

It might even be handmade levels with a few different areas that are randomly chosen to appear to not, similar to Left 4 Dead 2 where some buildings would be blocked off or not.
Either way, part of the first Shadow Warrior levels felt copy and pasted anyways and with the arena style combat gameplay it doesn't seem so crazy that parts will be procedural.
If this stuff was announced for the new Doom, then I'd be worried, but I think it'll work perfect for Shadow Warrior 2

All I want from this game is bigger and better weapons relative to the sword as well as a shotgun that actually has some kind of range.

Maybe tone down the crystal demons' health, too.

Both myself and my brother love the first one they made so this great news.

The extra player characters look badass too. Usually in coop games one character looks decent and the other looks shit, or is a woman and neither me nor my brother enjoy playing games as a female character.

I can't think of a fps game with tight swordplay that has a coop so this should be interesting to say the least.

I'll reserve judgement on the procedural stuff until I find out more but generally that raises warning bells for me.

More screenshots here.

Judging by the bottom screenshot it looks like you can customise your appearance as the back up characters has different coloured gear in the trailer.

I don't care MP, I only care SP... my bottom-line is... do not screw SP up... :)

Looks like we can blow enemies' chest in SW 2016(I'm not sure if it can be done in SW 2013)?
