I'm pretty sure 3drealms addressed the "demo" issue eons ago. Basically it's very unlikely to see a demo before the game ships.
It is however, not a stretch to think the full trailer should hit sometime very soon.

Buddha I can only hope... I seriously hope that this time of all times the game is actually going to be done and shipped. To be honest I can't play Duke 3d anymore (even though trust me I love it) I am ready for something new.... and I am very EXCITED

Right, but a demo for PC and 360 should come right after the Trailer which should release before Summer with a greatly high probability rate.

I think you and I talked about this exact subject two years or so ago.
I thought it then and think now that we are close to a trailer. George said sometime around then that we would see lots of hype for the six months leading up to release.
Here is a good one to discuss, I think that the trailer will be released within 3 months of the final release of the game. (That way it does not get cold in the market). Does anyone have any notes on trailers that were released on major games, (not small ones) and how far out they were before the final release of the game? Not things that were stolen or leaked, but what is the average official release of the trailer before the release of the game? The marketing people generaly have this stuff worked out to a science. If we can narrow it down, it should give us a resonably accurate release date estimate after we see that trailer.

Yes Exactly that's right. Resident Evil 5 a major game for example is only one month or less from releasing, they released the Trailer last month with the demo I believe. 3DR it seems will definitely follow a similar tactical marketing strategy... So if the release of DNF is most likely this year, then when do you people think a Trailer will hit? Now this is a question that requires answering...
Judging from the Twitter Updates, I feel a Trailer with a Demo before or during this Summer is very likely.

Yeah that's from Part 4, the scene starts around 7:07, LMAO I used that quote for fun... Since those used to be one of my favorite funny Freddy movies. Freddy's movies are not usually scary in my opinion.

I doubt that will happen. When they release a trailer, it'll be on 3DR front page and all over the web! It would be nice though if George recorded a short clip or took a pic of the trailer and posted it at Twitter just to tide us over until it's released! Just like when he gave us a screenshot of the teaser before it was released.

That's what I was just coming around to see if anyone else noticed it is down. It is 12:40 eastern time where I'm at. I guess it's been down for awhile, maybe they are FINALLY moving the server?

The servers will be downed at 8AM Central Time on Thu the 19th, and then transported to the new location and brought back online. The downtime shouldn't be more than a couple of hours.
The server downtime on Wed morning the 18th was in prep for the move on Thursday.

It will be done by Tomorrow Hopefully.
They're getting ready to show media soon possibly, so that's why they want this server task handled with priority.

Just saying, they've done things like this before, which were not followed up by any big surprised (or even small ones)... If anything happens, i believe it'll be nothing but a coincidence, and nothing planned...

I hope there'll be more actual ingame information again, and i look forward to actual interviews and previews once it's finally nearing release...
