If you thought that reaction was "real" then I am very disappointed in you, anyone should be able to tell he is faking all this crap and that is obviously how this guy got so popular from people that think it's "real"

It's pretty obvious what he has to fake some of his reactions, especially since he had played a lot of horror games before. Still, I find his reactions funny.
He wasn't expecting the last scare, so it must have scared him so much what he overreacted his "fake reaction".

Btw, part two is out. He completed the game and seems like he enjoyed it.

He could claim a proper copyright notice, that would get his attention.

Hello guys!

IndieDB just started indie game awards and Slender's Woods is nominated. Of course there's much better indie games on this site, but if you enjoyed my game/mod and want to support it, please vote for the project here (vote button is below, no registration required).

If you wanna vote twice, follow this link and press the same button again.

Thank you :P

I posted the vote thing on the EDuke32 Facebook (usually about 1000 people see my posts on that). Good luck!

You can vote on IndieDB and ModDB - it's sort of cheating, but, if I can, other fans for other game engines will do the same, so technically it is using all available voting power Posted Image

Odd, because I voted on IndieDB and then went to the ModDB and it said I had already voted.
Maybe this only works for people not logged into an account (and then there votes are not as worth much IIRC)

You shouldn't be able to vote on both since they are the same internally...

I had the same argument before. ModDB is for modders and IndieDB is for mini game developers. They are two different sites, and I have two different log-ins. I assumed everyone does the same. Posted Image

I can login to ModDB, IndieDB and Desura with all the same login.

I can't - perhaps this explains the difference ?!?

Good news, Slender's Woods is in top 100 games at the Indie DB competition! I would like to thank everyone who supported the game at the awards. Thanks guys!

But it's not over yet, seems like players need to vote for the games again.

Is the Moddb competition seperate? If it's just indie games then it's really unfair for you to be going up against commercial games where people can work on games full time with more professional tools with the motivation of putting food on the table so to speak.

Indie DB started the awards and Mod DB is just one of the places where they advertising it.

Yeah, I'm sure Amnesia will take the cake at the end, but still, the fact that SW is in top 100 together with Amnesia and other big games is a great achievement.

First of all: I really liked the game, I'm amazed of how everything is done; I mean, there's nothing evident that reminds of Duke.
I have to admit that, even having nerves of steel (or, at least, I think so), I got nervous at certain parts. :)

I've not played the original Slender game, but I've seen YouTube videos of users recording their reactions to it.
I have to say that the fact the game has a story mode attracted me and decided to give it a try.
The story, the way it's played and, specially, the sound create a nice scary atmosphere.

Spoiler

Ok, now with the question: Has anybody found the 6 pages in the other game mode? I always get stuck with 5... they are usually located near the same area I found them in previous attempts, but I've been unable to find the last page. :(
I'm curious about the unlockable content, what is it? :)
