Good luck with the game anyway.

I'm looking forward to the game in itself as well, but as much as I would D3D Reloaded.

The projects been put on hold, not stopped, there's a difference. Although with Gearbox there could quite possibly be no difference.

My bet is that Apogee will lean on Interceptor for many of it's future titles.

By all means hope, but expect any dreams to come true in the near future for the Duke franchise.

I will say that this project has made me start playing through Rise Of The Triad again. The game has its little nuisances, but it's otherwise quite fun, and I can't wait to see what Interceptor does with this if indeed they do succeed.

They did more damage to Duke Nukem than people realise.

Don't forget the gangsta-wannabe cover art and the literally shitty advertisement.

I can say this might just possibly be the epitome of lame.

Aww and here's another one I found...

Photoshop is Fresch's biggest friend it seems...

No, I just can't help myself from laughing at lame arrogant posers. I love making fun of them with every occasion that I have.
I don't like lamers that are arrogant posers.
But I guess that should have been painfully obvious by now for those who know my style of posting and general attitude around here, especially when it comes to my opinions on Fresch and his "achievements"

To me you sound like a person who has nothing else do to in life than criticize people. The internet must be heaven for you so we can't see what kind of a person you really are. At least he has the balls to show who he is instead of looking down at other people.
There is always something negative to comment on someone. I don't like posers who think they are awesome, but really, you don't know what he is thinking, he is probably a really nice guy with no greater expectations to himself than anyone else.

Of course Fresch deserves it to some point, since he screwed up with DNR and has some very strange obsession with his own image in a homoerotic tone. But I guess you are already being too repetitive about Fresch flaws.

I'm not saying I wasn't disappointed, still I enjoyed it and it could have turned out much, much worse. And as Achenar said no game could have lived up to that hype, especially not one as flawed and dated as DNF. BTW I'm not so sure the majority of Duke fans feel exactly like you, I know quite a lot of them liked the game, but as always the haters are the most vocal.
But this whole situation is very different from DNF, so we're really going a bit off topic here. What I meant was basically that Interceptor will be in a much better bargaining position after they've released a game, and GBX/T2 might be much more interested in what they can produce by then.

Interceptor was basically forced to suspend development of Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded because Gearbox wouldn't tell them if they could release it or not.
To put it as simple as possible Gearbox granted Interceptor a non-commercial licence to develop Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded, several months down the track they say 'oh, by the way we never said you could release the game just that you could develop it and it's upto us to say if you're allowed to release it or not but we won't tell you if you can or not' and with Gearbox having said that it didn't make much sense to continue developing a game that may never see the light of day. A few months later they were approached by Apogee Software, LLC. and asked to do a Rise of the Triad reboot and here we are.
It's unlikely that the development of Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded will ever continue now that Interceptor is working on commercial projects with Apogee Software, LLC. although once they finish Rise of the Triad and depending of the success of the game maybe they'll work on the other games in the Duke Nukem Trilogy if Apogee Software, LLC. still has the licence to those games which I'm assuming they do, citing this.
