What have you watched lately ? "... movie, TV show [may contain spoilers]"

I had seen Kissing Jessica Stein before and it had lost some of its appeal. It came off as too Jewish/New Yorker/Democrat/trendy. And Jessica's neurotic behavior is a bit annoying. But it's still a pretty good movie. 3½/5.
Imagine Me & You is something I saw for the first time only a few weeks ago and I've watched it three times now. The girls' romance is played out in an interesting sequence of events and both characters are very appealing in their own kind of way. "Giles" from Buffy has a great role too. The movie does have exactly zero originality and is filled with clichés but who cares? 4/5.

It's what you expect from a Tom Cruise movie. Bad acting (Olga Kurylenko is a complete fail, Andrea Riseborough deserves better roles). Poor story. Stealing everything from other films, no new ideas. Everyone behaves as dumb as possible to make the predictable plot and twists work. Production design/CGI is OK (except for the inevitable Mad Max low-tech areas). Sound is good.
Yeah went to see that too. (I had two free tickets so I had to spend them on something until their expiration in May. I saved one for Iron Man though.) The movie had the worst female cast ever. One is willing to murder a colleague in a fit of jeaulous rage and the other mostly just stands around looking dull. I loved the whitish design on all those future gadgest though and the soundtrack is awesome.

Prometheus sure was one of the best! One of my very favorites was an oldie from the forties called The Twonky.About a guy purchasing what he thought was a tv set,but wasn't.It looked like a tv,but it did everything for him, including light a cigarette and stuff.Of course, everyone thought he was crazy.I laughed myself silly over that one!

Realy? I thought It wasn't all that great, I only liked 2 things: Michael Fassbender and the CGI.
Such a shame, as I thought it was gonna be decent, but I suppose expectations ruins everything. Hell we all know that to be true here.

Sorry you didn't like Prometheus very well.I just plain and simple like my sci-fi and horror. While I'm sick and tired of Star Trek, when the newest one comes out on dvd,I'm going to buy it.It'll end up as a gift to a close friend anyway.

Yeah the same for me, it was a father-son type of thing. And yeah, Way Out West is another I'd consider a classic.
