Duke Nukem Advanced
Duke Nukem 64
You know this was almost my exact list, but I decided to put Duke Nukem II instead of Duke 64 due to it being so similar to Duke 3D. Heck I almost put the Game.com version down but I figured that's also based on Duke 3D so pick something different. xD

I'm unsure regarding the rest. For now, I'd probably put "Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project" and "Duke Nukem: Time To Kill", but I'm not sure when it comes to the order. Each game has its own better and worse points...
Oh well, maybe:
2. DN: MP
3. DN: TTK
Explanation: For DN: MP, you may save in-level; You can't do so in DN: TTK, and the controls are somewhat less "intuitive"/smooth.
I also played Duke Nukem: Planet/Land of the Babes beforehand, but I don't seem to remember alot for a fair comparison.
To add, I've considered having Duke Nukem II in the list, mostly comparing it to DN: MP. However, I guess the smaller screen view within DN2 on the one hand, and the "coolness" of DN: MP on the other (think of the Duke quotes and more), make the choice easier.

Duke Nukem Time to Kill
Duke Nukem Land of the Babes

2-Duke Nukem II
3-Duke Nukem
I'd say Duke 64 but it's not really different enough in my eyes, even though I personally consider it better.

I'd probably go with this one, but I really can't choose between Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II. It's not the first time a good game gets a good sequel which improves on the original, yet the original still has all of its charm

Other than that, I enjoyed the demo of DNMP, even though I haven't played the full game.

2. Duke Nukem 2
3. Duke Nukem Manhatten Project
Haven't played most of the other games except for Duke Nukem 1, which was too hard for me and I lost interest, and as for DNF, I don't really have to say any more.

The demo was IMO the best part of the game, it certainly has the best boss, except maybe the final boss. Duke's at his best in urban environments (and hi tech of course) but 80% of the game takes place in sewers, which is repetitive, and the gameplay itself if repetitive. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just shooting, which is pretty fun, but you have to find a bomb and a babe and a keycard in each part before you can leave. You also had to find lots of objects in the other 2D Duke games, but most of the time you could go up and down as well as left and right, while in Manhattan Project it's mostly just left and right.

Zero Hour
Time To Kill
64 was the first Duke game for me, as well as the first fps and 3Dish game I ever played, so it had the strongest impression. Love that game and that Plasma Cannon, you just felt like God with that beast charged up and the screen and controller shaking.

Duke Nukem 64
Nuke Nukem: Total Meltdown
Funny how the author of the thread was the only one to include Duke Nukem Forever in the list.

It's kind of fucked up, people don't appreciate this game enough. You all expected too much.

If they would've given us a map builder the game wouldn't have been so bad. In my opinion the really bad part of the game was the incredibly drab mapping, what with being entirely linear and too many damn areas that had no enemies/stupid puzzles that were annoying rather than fun. And those GOD AWFUL ON-RAILS PARTS WITH THE FUCKING TURRETS THAT DROVE ME TO INSANITY!!!
Oh, here's my updated list:
1. Duke 64
2. Duke Nukem Zero Hour
3. Duke Nukem Advanced
Duke64 was the very first Duke Nukem game that I'd ever played. Great memories of an almost perfect port...

2. Duke Nukem - Time To Kill
3. Duke Nukem 2 (mostly for its soundtrack)
4. Duke Nukem 1

This is my list too. IN that order.
The original side scrollers, the first one at least, are still quite a bit of fun for what they are. I could never really enjoy Duke 2 very much though.
