Here are frames for the assault captain's teleport while kneeling/crouching. I hadn't seen this before so I decided to put it together for anyone wanting to use it:

Is each color coded to give the player different amounts of different things?

Yes! Here's what I planned:

- ATOMIC GREEN: +75hp
- ATOMIC PURPLE: +150hp (total player health 250hp no damage).
- ATOMIC RED: -50hp
- ATOMIC YELLOW: bad joke item! Three possibilities: it disappears at the sight of the player, it explodes or it inflicts 5% of damage.
- ATOMIC WHITE: fake item! Three possibilities: it gives +1, removes -1 or simply does nothing at all.
- ATOMIC BLACK: instant death for the player and also enemies who approach it.

Other:

- original ATOMIC HEALTH +50hp
- original ATOMIC HEALTH of the DNA version and which served as a model for the others +100hp (total player health 200hp no damage).
- PEARL HEALTH of the Duke Caribbean: ULTIMATE ITEM ! +200hp (total player health 400hp no damage).

You say the sprites were too clear? I never realized it in the game.

fullbrights = last 15 palette entries, they are unaffected by level shading. Like the pig cop's eyes

Try placing the previous sprite in a dark area.

You did well to do that. It makes me think that I have other sprites that have the same problem. There is not a way in Eduke32, to get around this?

A version of "Alienz" theme

I want to share a musical theme version: "Alienz", to reeplace the original one.
It is obtained from the original Alienz.mid of the game. The credits are for the original author not for me. But I did some "fixes" on some places and completely changed the sounds getting a more accurate version of it (at least that is how I feel it).

It is an OGG compressed as ZIP.
The FLAC is 20 MB long so I cannot upload it here. Some suggestions?

Attached File  alienz.zip (3.28MB)

In the attachement, there are seperate sprites with hopefully correct palette for each sprite.

God, I want to play Nuke's DN64 port so bad now 👀

Edit: Just for fun, Dzierzan's extended grenade launcher upscaled and motion interpolated
