Duke Nukem 3D HRP 5.0 isn't atomic edition?

Hey guys I just got the 5.0 version of HRP and I have an atomic edition duke nukem .grp, but when I play the game I can only choose between the original 3 levels with no option for the fourth. Also when I load eduke32 it says my duke3d.grp is Game: Duke Nukem 3D. Now why isn't it the atomic edition? Help would be very appreciated.

Which episodes are available in the menu is controlled by a file named 'USER.CON'. Assuming you have a non-pirated version of the Atomic edition, that file and the other .CON files are inside of your DUKE3D.GRP and are loaded when you start eduke32

However, if there is a loose copy of USER.CON that is lying around in your folder, then the game will load that one instead of the one in DUKE3D.GRP

If you see any USER.CON files anywhere, you can safely delete them. As long as you have a legit copy of DUKE3D.GRP with the CON files in it, you will be fine.

Yep, you definitely need to buy it. There's a link at the bottom of eduke32.com to purchase it for $5.99, no tax.

Yeah, that's probably the only way to buy Duke 3D anymore...because I don't think there's anybody at 3DR anymore to fulfill the physical CD-ROM copies of the game (got lucky about five or so years ago that Joe and the gang were there to take care of that, having had lost my CD-ROM copy from about 1998 or so).

I believe 3DR still sells Duke 3D via an online store, but gog.com is better. (For one thing, the EDuke32 devs get some kickback.)

You can still buy physical copies on eBay and in thrift stores. I just saw a good condition full copy in Goodwill the other day for four bucks.
