I can access the forums just fine, but the actual Duke4.net page itself is down with a white background and the following message:
CRITICAL_ERROR:
Line : generic, class2.php
Error reported as: [6]: Unable to form a valid connection to mySQL. Please check that your e107_config.php contains the correct information.
What's going on?
Can't access Duke4.net

I think they're have a private party.
I got the same message, b.t.w. no worries. I'm sure they'll fix it.

The same here, and it is happening all the time. At least the forums are working.

The hosting for the main site is something we get for free on the same server that runs www.gtagaming.com. The reason the forums stay up no matter what happens to the site is that the forums are on a completely separate and way overpowered server donated by Plagman. I think I'm going to push Yatta towards moving the main site over to the box the forums are on sometime soon if these outages keep happening. Frankly, the outages cost us money as far as advertising goes and that's obviously not something that makes me very happy.

It happened again. I can access it now, but I couldn't before.
I never saw it come offline like this before I made this thread, so if the server is crashing, it must be more frequent than it's been in the past.

Kind of loading strange today. I don't think it's me, since other sites load just fine. Ping is around 210ms or so, from Canada.

Loading stupidly slow here too...
Edit: Got this error message, Server busy or per-user connection limit exceeded.

Should be ok now!
I was swapping out the hard drive on the server so the entire site was loading from my home computer in the meantime. TX please confirm.

Yeah, the location the server is in is having problems. There's nothing we can do about that, unfortunately.

The server is in France actually. Must've been something temporary. I had access the several times I logged onto the site today.

hmm..Tx in a beret, surrounded by poodles, and half naked women racing around him on bicycles
Spoiler
no wonder the server went down for a bit
