hmm..Tx in a beret, surrounded by poodles, and half naked women racing around him on bicycles

OHH! I get it now... I had to go back and look... I didn't notice the bicycle or the poodles. :) My eyes got tangled up in some lace and tits I guess.

Why does the site keep randomly going down now?

I'm attempting to figure that out... honestly, if I knew it wouldn't keep happening. I'm starting to wonder if the server might have a bad stick of RAM or something. I switched to a different kernel earlier today to see if that resolves anything... we'll see.

For several days there is a problem with loading forums.duke4.net at this time. Either slow or simply not loading.

mtr -n forums.duke4.net
HOST: ArchPC Loss% Snt Last Avg Best Wrst StDev

Windows incompatibility is a feature, not a bug.

I can't reproduce any packet loss to/from the site, nor have I experienced any issues with page loading times or anything else. I'm not even on the same continent as the server, so I'm going to assume things are running alright. Maybe you're having problems somewhere along the route between you and the server. What do traceroute results look like?

Right now everything is ok, but there were loses on the 14th hop(last), as you can see from my log(mtr just pings every hop in traceroute). But it is somehow related to provider, it seems, since it was working all right from tor-network. But yeah, maybe I should compare routes when everything is ok and when it's not.

Windows incompatibility is a feature, not a bug.
