I removed all his privileges. This isn't 3DR, it's not some company forum and I'm not being compensated in return for dealing with asshats like Joe was. He pissed me off so I got rid of him, end of story; if you came into my house and pissed on my carpet you can bet your ass I'd kick you out too. He clearly hates DNF, hates our forum and hates the people running it, so there's not much incentive there for us to let him stay. In fact, since he obviously didn't want to be here I'd say it's really no big loss for him.

And yes, I freely admit that I took his lame comment and escalated it into something more than that. Does it make me immature? Sure, but I don't really care. I just took his complete lack of respect for our forum and the time put into it and fed it back to him in spades. I don't care if it makes me look bad. My job isn't to put up with people purposely trying to get on my nerves, my job is to maintain this community--a community that, judging by the content of his posts, High Treason was never really a part of even though he was a member here.

I don't suppose anyone's going to give me some bonus rep points because they're in a good mood? :dukegoof: (please don't rep me down :D )

I'm in a shitty mood and really wanted to downvote you. Your last phrase saved it, though.

In other words, fuck him. I don't spend my time maintaining this forum just to have some autistic kid come by and do everything he can to piss me off.

I have a slight case of Aspergers, but I certainly know how to control myself. :dukegoof:

Some people think I don't have a disability, but it's kind of hidden.

Yes, I saw your emo post about "leaving the world of gaming" behind to become an "animator." It was pretty laughable. I don't have to waste my time digging up your old posts where you claim you've written an operating system in batch files or javascript or what have you.

Though I don't hate you, please enjoy your ban for reputation system abuse. Lot of good being a sperge did you here. I guess I made an exception after all. :)

P.S. my wife read this thread and thinks you're a cocksucker. She would know!

HOLY FUCK HT is for some reason acting like an ass! Well done TX! That cocky bastard got whats coming to him!

I must admit this whole thing was funny, just as funny as the time DISTRUPTOR did almost the same thing, in the EDuke section.

Yeah, there are several people here who probably have Asperger's. I knew you were a bit of a sperge years and years ago by your posts on 3DR, but you're more of the "guy who sometimes makes odd yet entirely harmless posts" kind instead of the huge douche kind, so I like you.

I can't believe it, someone i know has it as well, and he can bearly use a computer let alone type in a forum, correctly and neatly.

Well done dude.

The more I find out about various mental/psychological diseases the more I start to think I might have something. Aspenger's OCD syndrome #2 or whatever. I do say some crazy shit. Especially at work when it's boring.

I can be weird sometimes, but most of the time I'm pretty good. Hell some people even think Bill Gates has Aspergers. Easy way to tell if someone does is if they only have one or two interests and they have some difficulty socializing.

Interests like Duke Nukem? It's the only thing I can think about these days.

Edit: you'd think a good way of building up rep would be helping out newbs with mapping problems in the help me section, but the problem is newbs don't know about the rep system :dukegoof:

What's the difference between being kicked out a store, and being banned? Some time ago I managed to drive some guy nuts at a local electronics place in town and the manager said he wanted me to leave. Even though I may have been asking the same question all the time, I was actually asking a similar question. I don't think you can actually get kicked out for that, can you? I mean, you're not stealing anything. There was about 5 different questions asked over the course of about 6 months.

Isn't people's jobs who work in retail to put up with shit all day?

I guess my Aspergers was acting up when I was there.

Just bought Brothers Grimm in German because what better way is there to practice German than to read children's stories? I also decided to pick up a Loeb Classical Library (parallel English-Greek/Latin collection that kicks ass) for Plato's Apology because I've been thinking about reading it.

Yep, my summer plans are set...

Sometimes when I'm playing online games, when I'm listening to the comments in game, I feel like I'm too old for gaming. I know there's people in their 70s who play games still. Maybe I'm too old for online gaming that is. Probably just stick with the offline stuff, that way I won't run into a bunch of rampaging teenagers and people in their early 20s.

One time we got talking about social stuff and acting stupid, and I mentioned I had Aspergers, and some guy made some comment about how we were going to lose because they had some down syndrome kid on their team. I'm not really that stupid. I did go to college and get my A+ certification.

Hey TX, do you know if any mature online gaming communities actually exist? Or does gaming and the internet sort of bring about immaturity and all these tools who say stuff such as the above?

I'm not talking about here on Duke4, because you guys are fine. Just some games I've played I've ran into this stuff. Even if I don't say anything, you can see people acting like children.

The problem with the internet is that sometimes ignorant people can get together and support each other, so that the ignorance is increased and enhanced.

I'm 16 and am seriously shocked by the way some people in my generation can act, I don't even want to play games with them as most of the stuff that come out of their mouths is just crap. I'm not perfect myself but I can at least contain myself. One of the reasons why I like Duke4 because there are hardly any rampaging teenagers around here.

Your not too old dude.

But ouch that guy sounds like a right cunt.

People with your condition are normally very intelligent. Personal question: do you struggle with eye contact?

Yeah but Asperger's is really mis-understood. I personally know someone with it, and I thought all people who had it was like him, clearly I was wrong.

I normally make good eye contact except for people I don't really like.

I haven't posted there in forever, but I recall the gaming forum on Ars Technica being very civilized.

That's true. There are people who are just assholes and enjoy being dicks...most likely because of the size of their own dick.

If someone goes around being an asshole and making fun of people, they certainly aren't acting their age so to speak.

In other news, my old boss from my previous job said hi to me at work. I haven't seen her in two years or so.
