What saddens me is that this was my first proper camera, before this I only had a Practicka 110 - which I still have but it's really busted up and I could never find film for it - I have traveled the country with this Halina camera and taken photos of many things. It's strange to know that my last time pressing the shutter probably is the last time for this camera as there's no real reason to use it anymore and tracking down film is almost impossible. Not to mention that the battery holder is trashed, the winding mechanism is totally flogged out, the flash gives you a painful electric shock (I forgot about that - remembered soon enough, hehe) and the shutter occasionally jammed open ruining your photo. These issues aside, that camera served me very well and it served my dad very well before me, I'm going to miss it.
It's funny, Id forgotten how primitive these things were, there's really nothing to it - just a shutter, a mechanism to wind the film (in this case, electronic as the camera boasts full automation - really, really boasts about it just to emphasize what a fossil it is) and the flash... Almost hard to think we used to use these crappy little viewfinders that taint and blur what you're looking at. Almost beautiful in it's simplicity that what actually makes it a camera is entirely mechanical and chemical - the electronics weren't mandatory other than in cameras like this one that tried to be clever.
A technology that future generations might never know.

A little late. What will commiefornia do next? Raising the tattoo age limit to 21 and charge a 15-20% tax on tattoos?
And now something completely different. Indie First-Person Shooter Removed From Steam After Developer Threatens Gabe Newell. What. The. Hell!?

I have a funny feeling that I'm about to upgrade to Windows 8.1 a little early because the people who made part of my capture setup require their updater process to run for the card to work and the new drivers/firmware are not compatible with XP. Obviously I have old drivers archived but the updater does - what else - an update as soon as they install to the new version which doesn't work under Windows XP. Also, there's no way back now as the firmware is locked to each particular driver revision and the software does not allow downgrading the firmware.
My ISP also updated their website, it now takes a million clicks to get anywhere and the page for checking my bandwidth doesn't recognize my username. Why the hell is everything broken.

Much better avatar, I'm sure I wasn't the only one sick of seeing your face around here.

On the other hand, the controls are decent and the framerate is nice, so at least it's playable, compared to Sega Genesis version.
By far, the worst FPS on Saturn is Quake, ported by the same guys. It's ridiculously hard, even compared to DN3D. I played through level five on normal difficulty and just stopped playing because it was impossible. It's very easy to die, because of the overpowered enemies, unavoidable traps and slow weapons. Also, just like Duke 3D, most of the secrets and locations are cut from the game. God, I hate this port so much. Thank you Lobotomy Software for screwing up a great game.

Duke 3D for the Genesis was made by Tec Toy. Quake for the Saturn was developed by Lobotomy Software.

Anybody notice the Major Stryker teaser is gone from the 3D Realms YouTube? Things are about to happen methinks.

Oh, oops
I would like someone to one day rip the secret levels from the Saturn version of Quake though as there was 4 exclusive maps.

I was thinking about making a port of Urea 51 after beating the game, actually. I think it's even possible without using new textures or con hacks.

I assume Urea 51 being played with proper controls would make the level easier and probably suckier but I'd like to see the code to enter the level (shooting all the toilets in the other levels) as some sort of mod

I don't know where he is now, he was last seen borrowing internet from a library whilst causing nuisance to women's inbox's. Rather annoyingly, Mullet Man has thus far been more successful than I was in five years of using the website. Mullet Man has also been restarting his record collection due to the originals being destroyed when they demolished the Alcatraz Maisonettes.. I probably shouldn't mention this to my therapist.

Less talking shite and hair blocking the lens get more reactions, still cool though.
