things works surprising well for duke, needs tweaking on the X axis ( i think i would need to force an even higher value than possible from editing the cfg to get it perfect ) but you just plug it in, installs generic drivers sees the left stick as WASD back stick is mouse emulation, surprised it doesn't need specific drivers for the IR sensor or gun or even have an external app for tweaking.

yup they are gimmick territory but actually got this one worked out alright, true test was with 3 of my friends more into console gaming were able to complete Hollywood holocaust ( god / weapons ) but they never really seemed frustrated about the controls. brutal doom played pretty great with it, that's the only problem with it really just keeping the gun lined up after quick movements to left or right throws of the x-axis you can really up the X axis in some of those doom ports nearly had no problems with doom, pretty easy to fix tho just hold ignore and realign the gun to the cross hair again, you learn to get good at this

shows you how much a grip steadies your aim too as you can detach the front grip and just use a pistol, dunno how anyone could hit anything one handed with a real pistol like that with recoil and all, and wouldn't you need a left handed gun if you wanted to use 2 at once cause wouldn't the shells of one gun just eject into your face?

Fred Phelps dies at age 84: Westboro Baptist Church founder was suffering from ‘health problems’

The Rev. Fred Phelps Sr., who founded a Kansas church widely known for its protests at military funerals and anti-gay sentiments, has died in a care facility. He was 84-years-old.

Margie Phelps said her father died shortly after midnight Thursday. None of Phelps’ children gave the cause of death or the condition that recently put the controversial anti-gay preacher in hospice care.

Phelps, 84, was being cared for in a Shawnee County facility, Westboro Baptist Church spokesman Steve Drain had said Sunday. Drain wouldn’t identify the facility.

“I can tell you that Fred Phelps is having some health problems,” Drain said at the time. “He’s an old man, and old people get health problems.”

Members of the Westboro church, based in Topeka, frequently protest at funerals of soldiers with signs containing messages such as “Thank God for dead soldiers,” and “Thank God for 9/11,” claiming the deaths are God’s punishment for American immorality and tolerance of homosexuality and abortion.

Westboro Baptist, a small group made mostly of Phelps’ extended family, inspired a federal law and laws in numerous states limiting picketing at funerals. But in a major free-speech ruling in 2011, the U.S. Supreme Court held that the church and its members couldn’t be sued for monetary damages for inflicting pain on grieving families under the First Amendment.

Can´t believe someone else was thinking on that pic too. I stared it a few minutes thinking what it meant. For me it´s simply what the cat is speaking out what he tries to communicate. Like if cats talked.

A random thought: I wonder what it would be really like if there were a heaven and a hell. It shouldnt be like Doom3 but it should be like, if your balance of life is negative, you go to hell where the worse things you ever did to someone will be done to you forever. If it´s positive you will be gifted with the best things you ever did to someone. Imagine the torment evil people could suffer. There´s some fucked up specimens among us.

Sounds like a good premise for a movie or TV version of heaven/hell.
But that kind of heaven sounds shitty, if it just consisted of the same "good" things happening for an eternity. I imagine it would get boring after a while. As for hell, the ethical problem I have with it is this: how could a finite number of offenses justify an infinite amount of punishment? The people who endorse this (not saying you are one of them) I suspect of not really understanding how immense that punishment is. Even if Hitler, for example, had to suffer as much as all of his victims, in a row, he would be done after a few million years, which is still nothing compared with infinity (or make it a billion years, it is still nothing in comparison).

Woulnt it be fair? Fair is relative of course. There´s plenty of people who filters things as "if they are good" before doing them. And there´s plenty of people that either doesnt care or does it on purpose. I wonder if Hittler was completely aware of the pain and grief he was causing. He died believing that was he did was the correct thing.

Edit: but indeed, forever is too strong. Let´s say during a time proportionally equal to that damage.

The problem is that, if a force that is above humans was to make decisions, it probably would make decisions that we don't expect or understand.

For example, Hitler was not responsible for the suffering of millions, the germanic people was. That would be the same as thinking that your Ipod was made by Steve Jobs. Which kinda of rises the question if all people who supported the Nazi party should suffer?

Similarly, what about the american people who approoved the Iraq War, should they suffer because of the Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse? Sure, there was 9/11, but two wrongs don't make a right, and a supernatural being won't give US special treatment.

But that raises a lot of questions. Not long ago slavery was legal everywhere in the world, and now it is illegal everywhere in the world. If we assume that the new morals are better, wouldn't that mean that 100% of people who lived so far would be doomed in the afterlife? Maybe not 100%, I suppose newborns would be innocent.

And what about killing rats because they poop in our houses? There is no law against it, and christians say they have no soul, but would the afterlife judgment ignore animal suffering?
