Just bought a set of these because I know I'm going to own a Third Gen someday...Biggest safety hazard with these cars, by far! Wanted to grab a kit before they were gone.

I always thought the biggest safety hazards were the unenforced t-top windows and Non-collapsible steering columns.

Not at all. 4 star safety rating and no airbags. Little tanks. They even have side impact door beams. The only other cars from the 80's with that shit are Volvos.

My goal within the next five years is to own a 1989 Turbo Trans Am. 3.8L Turbo Buick V6 (Same as the GNX), white with tan seats, Indy 500 pace car decals, just straight up boss. Only 1,555 were built. It's about 15 grand for a good one. I'll put it under classic insurance...I only owe 3 grand on the Mustang as of writing this. There's only $1,200 of upgrades I want done to it on top of that.

I've wanted this car forever. It's my third favorite car ever - it's sister car, the GNX, is my first.

What can be done with a 3dr forums account I lost password to and email is gone also? Or is it not worth it? How is the activity there? Better than a ghost town?

I have the same problem and I've contacted 2 admins and 5 moderators about it, no luck.

I once contacted admin(after 2009 obviously) to unban my first account and he said he'd look into it. I didn't receive any reply afterwards. But I had my "main" account active, so I decided not to bother further.

The stupid thing is that I can succesfully reset password on my banned account. I can even login just to see I'm banned.

Only people I know still post there are Damien_Azreal and Bryan3DR. Don't know any other moderators or admins who work the forums. Moderators can only lock threads and such. Don't think they can do anything about resetting passwords or getting someone into an account. That's an admin job, AFAIK.

The software upgrade is still coming, but we ARE using the license you guys paid for currently. My wife got a lot sicker than she had ever been previously, and that has lasted since January on and off. If someone wants to help with the actual work of theming the new version of the software, that would speed things up a LOT. That's what's really holding the forum upgrade back currently... I didn't like how the theme I was trying to do for the new version was coming out, so it never got finished (and I didn't have the time to start over from scratch again).

Yep. It does it all the time. This is one of the things that was supposed to cook us in 2012 according to doomsday sayers, but like always, the sun flared, and nothing happened. Our atmosphere is like "COME AT ME BRO!"

Why the hell you didn't say so earlier? Cause I was somewhat surprised that we chipped in and forums were still running some warez.

What knowledge is needed on this matter? I'm not a programmer, but I know a thing or two about administering stuff.
