I missed it too. Must be some of that high-brow, sophisticated city folk humor.

^ it's just a vicious programming sample of kill-for-sure the mighty Sonic. Sort of darkish humour.

Sure, why not?
The stag was great, bunch of decent guys (I only knew the groom) they turned out to be. All the activities we did except paintballing were designed so that even if you have the slightest fear of heights you're shagged. Of of them was you had to climb up a 60 ft pole then when at the top leap out a few feet to catch a bar, even though you have safety gear it's still pretty scary if you're not great with heights like me. Another one was sort of like a bungie jump except you fall backwards from a platform 90 ft up and swing all the way down. The paintballing was great fun, never did that before was fun to find out that charging at a team like Arni in Commando while they are all hiding actually works. The drinking was great too from what I can remember, I don't know if I did anything too stupid but I guess I'll find out at the wedding.

At the start of the first video when the guy is flashing his gang sign with the missing ring finger, right away I thought of my high school shop teacher after his accident.

Hayfever is being shit, pollen count set to be higher tomorrow.
I have no reason to go out though, my refund turned up and my new Casio arrived too... It's awesome, just like my old one, I've already multi-tracked a song, I think after a few days I'll upload a video with some tunes.

Downloading Windows XP Mode from Microsoft.

"Best I can do is 200 kilobytes a sec, man."
Get it together Microsoft.

Naw I did it legit, I have Professional.
By the way, there are workarounds you can do to get it to work in Home Premium. All the necessary code is there already, Microsoft just locked home users out of their installer or something.

Which would be the same just as pirating it.

Not really. Just grab a license off a dead computer and activate it by phone.

Grab what license from a dead computer? By EULA you aren't allowed to use XP Mode on Home version of 7.
#9412 Posted 10 July 2013 - 12:50 PM
xp mode is free for download and use. it's the licensing when using it on machines other than professional, enterprise, and ultimate that are the issue. (those releases come with the license pre-installed - so the idea is when you purchase those upgrades from home edition you are also purchasing the license to use xp mode)
i have an old windows xp pro 32bit disc which i legitimately bought - but it's dead from damage
i used that key to license the xp mode via online verification and it worked fine
(edit: there are illegal hacks to make virtual pc & xp mode run permanently on a home edition windows 7, but i wouldn't risk it myself since micro$oft spies on everybody that uses their software)
you can get xp mode to work on windows 7 home by adjusting the security settings properties of the vhd file, but the xp operating system will expire after 30 days (i don't like virtual pc & i don't won't to deal with potential issues by using a "hacked" version and then trying to license it)
i used a "modified" virtual pc (free to download) to boot the xp mode (free to download), exported an image, uninstalled virtual pc, converted the image with VMware vCenter Converter (free to download), launched xp mode with VMware Workstation (purchased) and licensed it (also purchased).
-so i cheated a little, but everything i downloaded or used was free or already paid for-

Personally I use Crapacle VirtualBox for WinXP and Microsoft VirtualPC 2007 for Win98, both on Windows 7 x64 (despite the "warnings" about the older VPC not functioning on a newer OS, it seems to work flawlessly, even including ethernet passthrough - the only way I can reliably do file transfer between other 9x PCs, as well as use DJGPP).

Did you see that thing on VICE where they went into North Korea? I'm talking about the newer one, not the original one from 2008. It debuted on HBO a couple weeks back.
They had an entire room full of Koreans and computers. These computers were either on some random ebook or at the Google homepage. Yeah, they had people staring at fucking Google with their hands under their chin or just resting on the fucking mouse.
The only guy using a computer was the guy they wanted them to talk to.
"Silly Americans, they'll never notice!"

That's actually not bad considering I live in a pretty small town in a small English county. Certainly nothing to complain about, especially since I upgraded to fibre-optic broadband.
#9420 Posted 11 July 2013 - 05:51 AM
Heh, wish things were so good here, no option of fibre yet because the ISP don't think the council estates need it.

Anyway, I said I would post this when it was done, so here it is;
Multi-track recording of course.
