Probably chained to a bed in some basement being tattooed against his will with an apple duct-taped in his mouth, and a sore arse.

sore arse? where was that apple before it went into his mouth?

Mikko's Apartment, 1234 Welfare St., Helsinki Finland.

I hear he's pretty easy to overpower though.

On a branch, hence the sore arse. 3:11

So, some of my friends wanted to put together a collection of essays about theological themes in the Elder Scrolls games. I agreed to write one essay for this thing and we have a hard deadline of the end of June for a rough draft (I think he wants 5000-8000 words). Normally, writing 5-8k words isn't a problem, even in a month for research and writing (even when working, if I spent my Saturday on it, I could probably pump out a few thousand a weekend and it would be over). the problem is...I just don't care. I agreed to write and then I realized that I really don't like the Elder Scrolls games. I don't care for the story and I hate the mechanics of the games. I have to trudge through this thing though since I did agree to write an essay...but it is going to suck.

Full blown as in multiple lesbian tatoos.

Please tell me no part of you actually responded to her teasing or whatever. If ya did, then folks we have a dangerous manic on our hands!

So, decided the other day to record some of my Doom speed demos and upload them to my Youtube channel. I would've added a link to my signature but it won't accept URL's. They're not exactly what you would call brilliant http://www.youtube.com/user/D4V35PR1NG

I played it cool. I'm not Chris-Chan. I was only about halfway sure to begin with.

If I had a choice between this cat and this one, I'm going to have to go with the second one. My mom's cat isn't very friendly at all. Hardly meows and hisses at you frequently.

My cat also hardly meows, which is a good thing, but goddamn she likes to be petted all the time. How about waking up every day at 5am? No good? Well, she doesn't care.

Cosmo normally sleeps with me. When I get up, he either rolls around on the bed purring loudly or he'll start meowing.

Bit of a weird thing happened. A couple months ago or so, I went to recycle some old hard drives I had. During the process, one of my Western Digital Blacks went missing (still functional). I thought I recycled it by accident. Turns out it was still in my case, just wasn't plugged in.

Internet is back up and running. ISP had some kind of major slowdown on their end. Could connect, but the connection was painfully slow, then timed out. It's fixed now. I don't know what I would do without internet. It's almost as necessary as drinking water. Could not tolerate going back to the stone age without computers or technology. Reminds me of that Futurama episode when Bender refused to get the upgrade, so he downgraded into a wooden robot and waged war on technology.

Sinclair: Why would you want to watch TV when you could watch a snail crawl for hours on end?
Bender: That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Without internet I would just:

- play a videogame
- read a book
- listen to music
- watch a movie

Back in the day, I used to joke about going outside. I called the Outdoor Life Network (TV channel), the Indoor Life Network.

Ehmm, one of my old buddies called and says they are evacuating parts of Calgary because of floods, so stay inside if you still live in this City

Wouldn't you be more likely to have problems if you stayed indoors? Think I'd bail out of that city pretty damn fast, I can't swim. Hope your friend is OK.

In other news, my GeForce Ti4600 just died... The Ti cards are hard to find in the UK so I looked for another one, found one that was almost burnt out. I wanted a 4800 anyway but I have only seen one IRL and it came over from America with a guy I knew back when it was relevant...

Well, if all goes to plan, I migth have just gotten a "Ti 4800" for £16. I just bought a Quadro4 980 XGL for £16! This uses the same chip as the Ti 4800, it is from a HP workstation, was listed as parts or not working on eBay but according to the seller, one of the DVI ports works, the reason they listed it as broken was due to the second DVI port not working properly and they can't guarantee the card will last long at all. As it's mostly a display piece and Interstate '76 is about as much stress as it'll ever get it may be ok, if I get only a day out of it I'd still be happy just so I could say I once owned a Ti 4800 card and the Athlon 2600+ I wanted not to mention the awesome Chaintech motherboard.

You have no idea how much I used to almost masturbate over that thing when it came out, I even made a sticker for my MX420 (all I could afford with my pocket money) that said "0 Ti" in the same font as the label on there and stuck it to the end so it said "MX420|0 Ti"

The other options were a Radeon 9800 Pro, never knew anyone have a good time with those and all the ones I saw were loud. An FX5900XT/Ultra, much of the same. Hope this thing works.

I'll be fine. I'm about 1 mile from the Bow River, so it's unlikely that the water would completely overflow it. Or would get to where I live.

Perhaps. There is another 15mm of rain set to fall in the next couple days. Should probably go stock up on food and supplies.

It depends on the situation. If you are high enough up, the roads could be more dangerous once the floods start. When hurricane Katrina fucked New Orleans, the problem was people didn't leave when everyone told them to leave so they ended up being washed away (and the city was built below sea level which is pretty stupid at the Gulf of Mexico which gets a fair amount of hurricanes).

If you can't get out, you have to shelter in place in as high a place as possible.

I live on the third floor of a high rise building. I'll be fine.

This hasn't been the first time something like this has happened. Couple years ago we had a flash flood. This guy seems to be having a great time though.

I would, word is right now the Bow River is being affected as well, this could mean Down Town may be surrounded by water, so ...
