Not my cat in the picture but mine likes to eat straws. It will climb into the cupboard and only go for the straws...

I'm tired, unemployed, anxious about money and my schooling, and I don't have a very comfortable bed.

That is all I have to say.

I'm mildly concerned because I disputed a copyright claim, if YouTube don't believe me they may close my account apparently.

I think it'll go in my favour though;

I like the way the music credit is in the thumbnail it chose. The demo's info text says;

All our demos, except the ones which we have created for different companies, are freeware.
This means that you can copy and distribute them freely as long as you make no modifications to them. Also, no money can be charged for copying them.

that's pretty funny. my cat likes to sit in the middle of the living room floor on its haunches like a meerkat and eat stolen cigarettes

edit: the cat also likes to sneak up on my wife while she's doing her nails. when my wife isn't looking the cat tries to snatch up her emery board and run off with it. for some reason the silly little beast likes to chew on emery boards the same as a dog gnaws at a soup bone

I've rekindled hope for the Comic Con. Apparently we can have up to 4 people in the photograph, so if I can find 2 (already got 1) other people willing to have their photo taken with Richard Dean Anderson with me, I can cut down the photo cost by 75%. I'll also ditch the autograph and forget William Shatner. (I was watching Stargate a long time before Star Trek, plus I like MacGyver).

What's the bet Zaxtor will make a thread regarding the new Pope?

0% chance.
I'm not Catholic.
I have my own faith, I control myself and I don't worship stuff made up by people I never met.
So the pope getting elected.... Good for him.

BTW sad news the original drummer of Iron Maiden Clive Burr died of MS, he was 56.
He was replaced when his disease ravaged his body,

http://todayentertai...ies-at-56?lite=

Clive Burr, best known for his years drumming in the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, died at his home on March 12 according to a statement on the band's Facebook page. He was 56.
Burr suffered from Multiple Sclerosis, and according to the statement "had suffered poor health for many years." The treatment left him in debt, but the band staged concerts to form the Clive Burr MS Trust Fund, which had raised over $350,000 by 2007 to assist.
He had been a member of the band Samson before joining Iron Maiden in 1979, then played on three of their albums before leaving in 1982.

Maiden bassist Steve Harris said in the statement, "This is terribly sad news. Clive was a very old friend of all of us. He was a wonderful person and an amazing drummer who made a valuable contribution to Maiden in the early days when we were starting out. This is a sad day for everyone in the band and those around him and our thoughts and condolences are with his partner Mimi and family at this time."
Singer Bruce Dickinson added, "I first met Clive when he was leaving Samson and joining Iron Maiden. He was a great guy and a man who really lived his life to the full. Even during the darkest days of his M.S., Clive never lost his sense of humour or irreverence. This is a terribly sad day and all our thoughts are with Mimi and the family."
Check out Burr and the band performing "Run to the Hills" off the 1982 album "Number of the Beast":

More music packs?

I actually wanted a CM-32L, but wasn't about to pay as much as the bidding went up to, however, I've wanted an MT-32 and this was in the "similar items" list and the price seemed reasonable (They're usually >£100), so I thought I'd add it to the collection whilst I could afford it.

I was actually surprised to not see a virulent thread full of half truths and slander.

ORIGINAL drummer. Their drummer is Nicko McBrain and has been since 1983's Piece of Mind (which is indeed a reference to Nicko's joining.) Bummer to hear it though. Burr kicked ass.

If they were going to select a pope from Argentina, they should have elected Gambini.

I'm sure he'd have some interesting ideas on how to run their cult religion

I knew I could rely on your guys to bring in the hate. I missed all the hate since Benedict resigned and I stopped reading CNN and the NYT. I also kind of stopped reading Gaurdian and most other news media regarding the Papal Election and Catholicism.
