Or you can just ask Green to change your display name back to "Green's Bitch".

Sang, maybe you should switch to being bisexual; you could potentially double your potential dating pool (depending on how drunk you can get some people).

Only a small portion of the population is not heterossexual, so you would only raise the number of potential partners by something like 10%, not double it.

I guess Green was really desperate.

Well depending on what your goals are, you could get a certain someone really drunk, or use drugs such as roofies, then hey presto you've got a "date", hence doubling your potential number of partners.

The Cheese has spoken.

I have returned from A&E, it turns out waking in the middle of the night and eating cheese sandwitches coupled with lack of sleep and the recent viral infection may have caused a hypoglycemic attack despite me not being diabetic.

Pretty cool. To help you guys move forward even more, you should take a look at this.

:P

(Btw, as I'm writing this I'm listening to everything on that page. Right now I'm on "Closed Out (Demo)" and plan on finishing through the front page)

Hahahaha. I'm totally not a musician at all. The other two guys really are autistic though, and music is the thing they latched onto. So they know what they're doing. I think we're pretty good considering we're just two fifteen year old musicians and a twenty year old moron banging sticks together. They're already learning all this music theory stuff, so our next album should be less of a noise-rock experience. I know I'm writing lyrics to a reggae song right now. Only thing is I have absolutely no talent! Hahahaha.

Too bad you don't want to try going black (metal). I'd love to hear that.

You mean artistic? Or do you really mean autistic? Sounds like a great band, haha. :P

They're both. Hah!

I wouldn't say it's impossible for us to end up toying with black metal. I know the drummer loves metal and I really like Mercyful Fate/King Diamond as well as crack-rocksteady music, which draws heavy black metal influence at times.

Well, loving metal is one thing, but black is sort of "love or hate" subgenre in comparison to heavy and thrash probably being the most popular with death not so far behind(and certainly the most popular from the "extreme" subgenres of metal).

The only black metal album I ever actually found really cool was Sventevith by Behemoth, but even that I couldn't stand listening to more than once a month. Though apparently that album isn't pure black metal either. Whatever, I'm more of a 60s/70s rock & roll fan while listening to baroque and jazz on the side. I've been really getting into Miles Davis lately and I'm loving it.

I listened to this album long time ago and might be wrong, but if anything from Behemoth was black metal, it was this album(and the next one). Sure it had various acoustic parts, but that was quite normal.

I think extreme metal sucks for the most part, but I support black metal because they burn churches and murder for realsies.

Most of them don't.

At least I have an excuse to post this again.

If you consider the normal distribution, there are always going to be some incredibly smart aliens, and incredibly dumb aliens. That's probably one of the dumb ones.

I'm kinda tired of being the big cheese :P

But cheese is like the best thing ever! :P

I decided to look up the game on Reddit and found this too http://gifsound.com/...-Gbknk&start=20

Haha, that's hilarious. What game is it from though?

You think all cheese is great? What about blue vein cheese? (it actually has mould in it). Or one of several smelly french cheeses? (no offence Plagman).

That's taken from Alien: Colonial Marines.

In my imagination this is a new alien breed called grandpa Xenomorph and its main attack is shuffling through corridors while mumbling about "whippersnappers" that need to get off his patch of the hive, attempting to kill marines with fits of laughter.

Ah, I was a bit confused because a caption of a photo on its wikipedia page said there was no HUD (this was later changed apparently).

Well, looks like Gearbox has done it again Posted Image

The HUD is removed on "ultimate badass" mode, the highest difficulty setting.

But can you still look at the movement scanner? (of course you can since it's not a HUD)

edit: The game is getting ripped apart. Maybe even more so than DNF.

The characters don’t seem to have any physical boundaries, or are unaware of each other. When you have two characters in an action scene, they tend to stand inside each other for some reason. “I’m going to be okay,” a woman tells a man in one scene, and then reassuringly places her hand inside his chest.

Quote

The aliens don’t seem to know what to do if you don’t kill them all the second you see them. They like to run around each other, only attacking human characters on occasion. You’ll sometimes find them just kind of hanging out with their heads butted up against walls. I missed a jump during one scene, and found myself in a pit with two of the new aliens that are supposed to blow up near their enemies. Instead, they just walked around me. I tried running in circles to get their attention. I shined my light at their heads. Nothing.

Quote

There was a scene where I was ordered to set up a sentry gun to support a marine who was trying to hack through a door. There was a sentry gun pointed the wrong way. So I walked over to it, picked it up, turned it around, and planted it in the same space. Mission accomplished.

Those are among the best cheeses.

How did Gearbox allow the game to be released with so many bugs? I'd understand bad gameplay but those kinds of gameplay bugs are simply unforgivable.

I've now lost a lot of faith in Gearbox. First DNF and now this, they're running out of excuses very quickly for their poor quality work. This doesn't bode well for DN5.

The game looks unfinished, not just bug-ridden. And don't worry, Randy already started "it wasn't really in-house game" excuse.

RPS chimes in.

Quote

You’re allowed to open doors in the first couple of minutes, even torch them open if they’re stuck. But fortunately an NPC comes along pretty much straight away and takes over the playing of the game for you. Reach a door before him, hit E, and he’ll walk through you to open it first.

Quote

“One hostile remaining!” booms a marine as we’re surrounded by six or seven aliens. I’ve a feeling I should probably stop listening to their advice.

Oh, shit, I'm gonna be late for the stupid work...

I think this will be the last time Randy will take over a way overdue game. Imagine loosing twice in a row, that must hurt, I doubt he would risk a number three. :P Better stick with stuff like Borderland :D
