Yeah. Did you miss the part where I talked about economic repercussions? If Halliburton got in trouble this could also be bad news for the US.

Do you really think war profiteers would care?

But you just implied on this very page Halliburton is a war profiteer. Do you even know what you're saying anymore? ;)

Didn't imply, they are. I was saying do you think they give a shit about the US getting in trouble? It's all about a dollar for them.

You misunderstood what I said it seems. Unless I'm mistaken that is an American company that pays taxes like "everyone else". Because oil is big business if that company and others got in trouble (for example by letting the Middle East run rampant which could possibly make an anti-Western country in charge there who would refuse to do business with American companies) it could negatively impact the American economy.

Rich people don't give a shit about all that. Even if the economy tanked they could skip away to Switzerland.

Yeah and then what exactly? They'd still be out of business.

How would they be out of business just because America's economy tanked? And even if they were, they made enough money to be set for the rest of their lives.

Now I just know you're not even trying to properly read my posts.

Not read them properly? I went back, and all I can gather beyond what I initially gathered, is that it seems you think Halliburton is just some oil company.

I never said "just some". But yeah, it is an oil company, AFAIK.

A lightning have struke really close to my house yesterday. I've found out few hours ago that my network card on my motherboard is burned. Great! Fortunately my brother had few spare network cards, and one of them worked perfectly. I think it's time to buy an wireless one to avoid such situations next time. The strange thing is that, the router is allright O.o

The storm was also pretty scary. It was like everything went bright, like it was day, i was wondering what the hell is doing on, and then i heard extremy loud boom! It's not easy to scare me, but that did it perfectly o.O

Bored to death at work. I'm all alone, have had absolutely nothing to do for the past 2hours and a half and I've seen 1 couple of customers. A bit more than 1 more hour like this for the day.

It's incredibly boring and I feel useless, and feel like my time would be much better spent at home; but heh at least I don't have so much to do it ends up in countless unpaid extra hours like in my previous job...

If you're getting paid for doing nothing then why even care whether you're useless or not?

It is. You're doing jack shit and they're paying for that. Looks very gratifying for me.

I got a part time job coaching some junior badminton teams, it's like $30 an hour and it hardly even feels like work. Hell, I could play games if I wanted. Unfortunately it's only during the summer terms (that's winter for the yanks and europeans and what not), otherwise I'd do it all year.

A job where you have to do nothing for hours on end doesn't seem that satisfying to me. ;)

Can you read a book or a newspaper, if you can it's not so bad, stress is over rated. You could always work as a chef and have no break, endless work, unpaid extra hours, and bad pay.

Yeah, it sucks, but it's a job. I don't work every day, or even every week, but when I do it's $12.50 an hour for usually a 9 hour day. They also give me a free lunch.
