Hey, guess who I ran into about a half hour ago? The Prime Minister of Canada. He was walking along the same path as me. Said hello to me. I didn't realize he had a residence here in Calgary. Anyways, that was pretty cool.

The person who has posted after me enjoys getting slapped on the cheeks with a dildo.

P.S. Yay, slap me with a dildo, you stud!

I wasn't the only one to run into a Head of State. This video is a bit old, but some guy working in a convenience store runs into Obama.

Edit: Or someone who looks like him. My mistake. The guy playing Obama is named Reggie Brown.

Yeah, it sucks, but it's a job. I don't work every day, or even every week, but when I do it's $12.50 an hour for usually a 9 hour day. They also give me a free lunch.

I also get the free lunch

Went to see Ted yesterday and it's... not bad, but... meh. It's a romantic comedy with a talking teddybear. Some funny moments in the sense of "haha this teddybear does what a human would do and that's funny!" but not enough to carry the whole movie. I have to say that apart from a few laughs here and there, this movie bored the shit out of me.

Then I went to someone's house to watch The Room and I laughed from beginning to end. So... yeah.

And after all these years I believed the saying that "there is no such thing as a free lunch". I feel so foolish now. ;)

I have returned from Thanksgiving from my mom's friend's house. These people have seven cats and two dogs. I had two cats sitting on me, and this is what my leg looked like when I got home:

Cosmo must have smelled them on me, and he jumped off.

How did I double post that by accident. Must have hit the submit button twice or something. Sorry about that.

I usually get my haircut every 3-4 months. I knew a guy from work who got his every 2 weeks.

It's my plan to one day let my hair and beard grow out like Paul McCartney on the cover of Let It Be. You guys suck.

These days I keep my hair buzzed into a pretty short mohawk. Honestly, if I could look like Mark Venturini from Return of the Living Dead (sans the stupid chains on his face), that'd be pretty badass, but all in all, it's still a far-cry from how I looked a few years ago. From my sophomore year of high school to about age 22, I never bothered cutting my hair and it was coming down to about my mid-back by the time I did. Most guys that do that have some sort of personal attachment, so they have a block against doing away with it (or even considering it). Wasn't the case with me. Every day for nearly six years I'd resolve to get it cut, then completely fucking forget to do it, the cycle only breaking when I one day realized I could no longer eat soup without having to put my hair up, because my bangs kept spilling into the bowl.

Was it that hard to make a ponytail?

I've always wanted long hair, but my hair is way too curly so I just look like a moron if it grows out to any length. I'm always switching out from being bald, fades, and hi-top fades (a variation on the flat top.) I think I'm gonna get a mohawk soon.

Speaking of my job again : I just found out they put announcements to look for somebody to work instead of me. I started on the 23rd of september and I'm on my mandatory 2 months trial. I've the 4th person they've hired for this job in like 3 months already... what the fuck.

Oh well at least if they don't keep me I won't have to feel bad about the new law that our fantastic govnerment just passed : for jobs that are on 39h/week contract (which is my case), instead of having the extra 4 hours ("normal" jobs are 35h/a week) being paid 10% more, they decided to NOT pay the 4 extra hours at all; which means anybody in france having this type of contract is getting screwed of 4 hours.

There is another reaason why I won't feel bad if they don't keep me : they think I don't get along with the 3 other guys working there, well, it's not that I don't get along or don't like them, it's just that they spend all their time mocking customers and other colleagues behind their backs, sometimes until the very last second those could hear them. Sorry but mocking other people randomly and especially around their back is not my thing. It doesn't affect me, but I'm not gonna start doing that to "get along" with them and keep a job.

What do they mean by "getting along"? Do you quarrel with these guys?

No, not at all.... it's just that we all eat together (free daily lunch) and I usually don't say a thing for two reasons : 1) that break is at a time when I get the most customers checking in (working at a hotel restaurant) or the most phone calls, so I actually constatly have to eat fast and go back and forth working during my break 2) like I said, I don't laugh at their jokes because they consist in mocking everybody behind their backs. I mean it's kinda ridiculous when they keep mocking the cook who's cooking them the free meal in between he's serving the differnet dishes to them...

And who's got a problem with that, your supervisors? Did they actually said you should be more 'social' with your colleagues?

The manager said that. He's part of the 3 guys I was describing.

I think anything automatic can be circumvented, so ... for as long as spam makes a profit, any serious webmaster is s.o.l. and needs to clean up manually. And you did a lot of excellent work on the wiki, thus you are prolly one of the few that care about this site. Posted Image

And yes, I am supposed to help, but we are on stand-by to fly out, so come x-mas I should be back, Posted Image
