I could see this being song lyrics of a shitty emo song, or a rocking GWAR song.

Burnett, the absolute worst part is I didn't buy it. My grandmother, before she passed, had given me a thousand dollars in like a bank trust thing, I forgot what it's called. I did intend to use it to buy a car, that way I could actually garner employment. My dad asked if he could borrow the thousand, and give me $500 in interest, I said it wasn't necessary but he insisted. Anyway, instead of paying me back, he bought this piece of shit.

I wouldn't even know how to drive, let alone pass an exam if it had happened to me.

In the sector I work on it's not uncommon to get company cars, which is what "my" car is. It's also free to use for any private transporation outside work though.
So took it to the garage, turns out there's indeed something wrong with the engine. Have a replacement car to drive for now but hopefully it should be fixed tomorrow. Cause the replacement car is pretty horrible.

I remember the days when crazy people couldn't conventionally get access to small arsenals. This happened a few blocks from where I live. I was going to head to campus tomorrow to talk to an undergrad assistant before I apply here, just so I can get all the information I need. Looks like that shit ain't going to be happening now. Least nobody appears to have been killed.

Nah, I'm not worried about getting blown away or anything, it's just that since it happened near the university, campus might be shut down today. Unlikely, but even so, there's no guarantee the undergrad assistants will be there now.

Part of me was looking for Duke Nukem on there.

There is a proposed bill in the US to restructure NASA's funding. I think this bill would be a good thing based on what I read.

I think that part of me is wishing it wasn't dead. Kind of like a zombie wishing he didn't have an uncontrollable urge to eat brains.
