While I was searching the internet about remastering old TV shows on Blu-ray I found that back in 2009 or so MGM was considering bringing Stargate SG-1 to Blu-ray. Tricky part is the first 3 seasons were shot on 16mm film (kind of grainy, but it is HD resolution). Seasons 4-7 were shot on 35mm film and 8-10 were shot digitally (eg. Atlantis and Sanctuary are digital, since film is an analog format). Not to mention all the SFX were done on video.

Thing about MGM though, I heard they went bankrupt or something a few years back, so it might take them a while to rebuild. Since that article mentioned Fox, perhaps they could strike a deal with them to get it done.

Conclusion

The internet is currently absolutely positive about the commander.

Anyway, I am not sure how he got on my facebook, but I had to remove Zaxtor from it because I went and looked on my news feed and all I saw was post after post of Youtube videos on music and other crap videos that are so old and not funny.
I am not interested in seeing what music you are listening to etc.

Now my news feed is clean again apart from stupid people like/sharing posts to win an iphone bullshit.
How stupid can people be to believe that crap, all it generally does is take you to some other website where you have to fill out some survey/click some adds to make the person who made the scam get money from ad revenue.

So last night my store got this brand of salsa in that, till here recently, was local to San Antonio. I tried just a little dabble of it, and damn near everything I've eaten since then has tasted like flavorless grits because that shit was so unnecessarily hot. I hate any brand of salsa/hot-sauce that exchanges flavor for the sensation of putting a fucking lit road-flare in your mouth.

I really laughed at this, particularly the road-flare comparison.

I love the "road-flare" sensation, just as long as it's accompanied by an equal amount of flavor. I'm actually in the market for a new kind of very flavorful and very hot sauce to put on things... I've been a fan of Huy Fong's Sriracha for a while, but I'm at a point where it's so far from being hot anymore that I can just drink it out of the bottle.

I'm thinking of trying "Bella Diavolo" ghost pepper chili sauce from the Bella Pepper company pretty soon, based on several rave reviews I've seen, but the shit is expensive and is only sold in a handful of stores (none local). I might just have to bite the bullet and spend the $22 to get a couple of bottles directly from the manufacturer.

I once tried a hot sauce that was supposed to be the hottest sauce on the planet that a friend of mine bought online, I was a bit drunk so I took a little swig of it and ended up with my tounge in a glass of iced water for an hour after. Words can't explain how hot it was, I would consider myself someone with a high chilli tolerance but that stuff was insane I imagine a shot of it would burn right through you.

You don't drink water after hot sauce, you drink milk.

I don't like food too spicy. If it was too spicy, you would only taste the heat and not the flavor of the food.

It depends who does the cooking. Chucks wife, makes her own curry, a tradition in Sri Lanka. You eat the food with your fingers and not with your fork or spoon, so it is not hot hot. And then have a banana, delicious. Yes, also super spicy, but their kids are still alive, so it is save to eat. Posted Image

There were a few ideas thrown around and I tried a few but nothing worked, in fairness they tried to stop me from taking a swig so I have only my bravado to blame. Still it was worth it because its not happening to me now. I didn't drink the water just kept my tounge in it like a fool for an hour or so the ice helped, its really is hard too explain how hot it was, you would just have to try it. I was raised on hot food yet this stuff was the 4th dimenstion of burning, hot going in hot going out...lessons were learned that night.

I ate a fresh habanero once, right off the vine. Seeds, placenta and all. Not recommended...

Milk is supposed to coat the stomach, which is why they recommend it before taking things like Advil and such. For hot peppers, it probably softens the blow of the heat.

I love hot stuff. Hotter the better. I really wanna try something with ghost pepper. As for hot sauce, I really like this El Yucateco xxxtra hot habanero sauce my local Mexican restaurant carries. It's good, but it has that 'burnt' chile flavor, so it's only really good on mexican food or similar. I like Texas Pete if I'm going for flavor. Flavor and spice, I'd probably just nab some Tabasco, their flavors are all good.

I find that things like pickles and olives are good chasers if the burn is getting you real bad. Either that or swig some vinegar straight. Milk is always the classic choice.

I've never found Tabasco sauce to be that hot, but I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to buffalo wings (odd considering that they're one of my favorite foods). When I go to restaurants, medium's usually as much as I can tolerate, and hot is too hot. Inevitably I always end up drenching the wing in bleu cheese to counteract the spice.

Actually, spice-wise, I can't really tolerate that much. I have eaten raw pepperoncinis, but I think that's about it, and I know pepperoncinis are not spicy at all.

Pepperoncinis are delicious, especially when they're pickled. I eat the hottest wings at places like Buffalo Wild Wings and Hooters all the time. That's minor league stuff. Though, I usually just order the regular or medium variety, places often opt for flavorless hot sauces for their hottest varieties.

Dave's Insanity Sauce has a variety that uses ghost pepper, but if it's original flavor is anything to go by, it ain't worth trying. That stuff's a good example of the type of hot sauce that exists only to inflict pain and misery on the person that consumes it. Far as chasers go, dumping a bunch of sugar in your mouth tends to help in addition to the milk/vinegar/etc. But that's only assuming your teeth can handle it.

*EDIT* Also, +1 for mentioning Texas Pete.

Yeah, pepperoncinis are pretty mild. If you want something that's sorta spicy and a has a lot of flavor, try hatch chiles. Those things are awesome. Chipolte peppers aren't too bad either, far as spice goes, but they've always tasted kind of gross to me.

I've noticed that. Blazin' at BWW is boring taste wise. It is just hot and that isn't worth eating.
