It's a bit difficult to give a satisfying conclusion to a story like that... Gordon Freeman and a small Resistance group against a universal alien empire? Bit of a longshot if you ask me, even for a protagonist as hardcore as Gordon.

Honestly, I'll take a tragic ending...maybe. I feel like Valve is worse than 3DR and DNF when it comes to Half-Life.

This is the end of the story. It was a trilogy. See video link. It's mentioned about 8 minutes in.

I'm talking about Half-Life, not Mass Effect. I know that Mass Effect was written as a trilogy, a wonderful, masterful trilogy. I'm looking forward to ME3 and the conclusion, even if it is an anticlimax or a self-sacrifice tragedy because it is so well written and played out.

Half-Life 2 Episode 2 just ends mid plotline and it has been 5 years since Valve has released anything from the franchise. It is worse than DNF and I'm losing my drive to know what happens...I might not even buy Half-Life 3.

In fact, I expect a tragic end to Mass Effect. It is one man and his crew against a horde of massive sentient robots bent on the destruction of all biological life in the galaxy. It will either be a deus ex machina where you some how find a weak point in the Reapers and wipe them out or a total failure and everyone dies but in a valiant battle for survival. Either could be epic, the latter more so simply because deus ex machina is kind of cliche.

We haven't seen any teaser trailers or anything. Some people are starting to think it's vaporware.

I should read threads before posting in them. I have a habit of doing that. Either that, or I'm still feeling the effects staying up all night. I was at the store buying some groceries and I was putting in the money into the self-scan machine and I knew I had to put another $20 in the machine, however, my brain just mindlessly froze for a minute there, because I somehow forgot what I was doing. Took me a couple seconds of thinking to realize it wanted more money.

"Picking sides", also "choosing sides" refers to someone's decision to support one of the opponents or aggressors in an argument or debate.

My thinking is much better today.

Aside from the headache I got from my job. We're doing a store renovation and everything moved around. I don't know where anything is anymore. Customers are losing it as well.

My Duke poster arrived today and it's in about the same condition as it was sent. One of the corners has a small bend that wasn't there beforehand but other than that it's fine. It shouldn't even show up after I frame it.
