Still looks like Hawaii, although they said they are planning to do the whole world like that.

I forgot about that. I'll look into it. Just picked up season 3 on Blu-ray a few days ago.

Ah, forgot about this...it is tomorrow. They moved the show to the Friday night death slot...but I thought I saw something on the Fox website about it. I suppose I would have seen more on Facebook from the Fringe page about a new episode throughout the day if the premiere was tonight. But tomorrow night...I'm so pumped. I'm going to a baseball game but I'll watch it as soon as I get home.

Since Gearbox bought the IP, I suppose it's no longer 3D Realms' game anymore.

Edit: It should be noted that the 'find my iPhone' feature was utterly and completely useless both times I actually lost my iPhone.

Also, the quality of The Phantom Menace is atroicous because of intense DNR applied. Ep.2 is also suffering from those woes, but to a lesser extent.

Actually what you're seeing on the screen is the plane just telling me to slow down.

So after 14 years, I finally got a new watch.
Do you guys know this joke?
Some guy: Hey what time is it?
Me: Time to get a watch.

Go buy a LaserDisc player. AFAIK, the older LaserDisc releases are pretty close to the original version. I'm not a Star Wars fan but my bro is and he told me this.
LaserDisc players are cheap. Just get a Pioneer or Panasonic unit made in the 1990's, any other player will have poor video quality. It's also a good idea to Google the exact model number before buying, see if AV nerds like it or not. Remember, LaserDisc is an analog format with digital audio, so the player is very important to the visual quality.
This player is a great deal:

There are sites selling the Star Wars Trilogy Definitive Collection for ~$150, I'm not a Star Wars guy, but that set came out in '93, so they should be unmolested. CGI still sucked back them.

The version on the right looks a hell of a lot better... more vivid colors and better gameplay the only downside is maybe a little more aliasing going on... the PC version on the left looks terrible. The PS3 version is a lot more innovative!

Shaw Broadband 100. They also have the 250 Mbps version, but that's too much for me. I don't need 1 TB of bandwidth. Actually the top plan is unlimited, but I doubt it's actually unlimited.
Lately I've been having dreams about Mass Effect 3. Not sure why, but this time was about the final boss. Of course dreams don't make a lot of sense. It was a single reaper named Nazara. Then I thought to myself, damn it, that's Mass Effect 1, not 3. Bah.
Another part of the dream was the renegade ending. I don't think they would just say something ala Harbinger then blow up the planet, that would be just too corny. Maybe not. Then again, some things are good to end with one big explosion.

And the cover art is tits. Pulling a DVD off the rack is a routine. Pulling a Laserdisc out of a bookshelf is an event.
