If you narrowed down the scope of that list, Milwaukee is right down at the bottom with Detroit. The rest of Wisconsin helps keep us off of the bottom as a state.

After seeing that list, I feel a bit better about having moved to Arkansas...

Arkansas is a happening state. My girlfriend made fun of me for saying that it was a "destination" for a trip (I have family there but it is also has a lot of cool places..).

Northwest Arkansas is one of the fastest growing parts of the nation, in no small part thanks to Sam Walton.

About 15 years ago I held the distance record for low power Amateur Television transmission. My video signal went from Milwaukee WI to some city in Arkansas that I forgot the name of. Unfortunatly someone else beat my record about 2 hours later.

EDIT: Just remembered. The city was Osage.

sorry. just copy-paste & forgot the link

and i was incorrect with the first post. the report was posted in 2013, but the data was collected from 2012

i used this one:
http://247wallst.com...-worst-schools/

but this one has all the states (& is slightly different from the other list as it includes District of Columbia):
(Michigan is rated 24th out of 51)
http://www.edweek.or...ntc=EW-QC13-EWH

edit: there are lists out there that vary from these, but some of the things they assess seem pretty focused (like free lunch programs, etc., etc.) and they also include colleges whereas the other two lists focus on elementary, middle, and high school levels (with some emphasis on college readiness & transferable credits towards a degree)
http://www.statemast...-educated-index
including colleges and free lunch programs among other things can throw the numbers due to financial, institutional, and program influences, imo

Guys whatever you do, make sure that whenever you're in a rush and have to scramble to get somewhere, DON'T be upstairs.

Why I here you cry? Try a broken knee. So basically I'm not gonna be here all that much, for however long it takes to heal up.

Also if any of you wanna send me virtual cookies feel free! :) :D

What if we spell Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz as a word, a 26 letters word?
Is pretty crazy. I used an online audio dictionary.

Actually, I'd wager he isn't American at all. If he is, he can't be over 10.

If there was any judgment on "3dReamls" it says he's 22 on that profile, and I bet the age on both profiles are fake to get around the COPPA compliant registration process since he acts under 13 with a fantasy of playing like a game developer, probably all an act to look cool in school or so, as in "ill sho those meen bully's i am real game develper". He doesn't act like a troll, and probably fits more into the Wolf3D community than others since it's easy to be a 'game developer' by replacing maps, 64x64 sprites and walls. Not just exclusive to that either - Yoyogames has been suffering since that one "3d fps" demo for GameMaker in 2004 (the one with the pinky sprites, sprite jungle, and tanned serious sam coach gun rip).

or maybe i am overthinking it and it's actually george

Meh, you want one of these;
http://krikzz.com/in...t&product_id=50

Every game for Mega Drive, Master System and 32X on a single cartridge. Great for bootlegs and homebrew too.

I also have an old dev cartridge lying around too, but it is missing two of it's PROMs.

I have had a realization that because I'm moving at the end of the month, I'm actually in a budget crunch despite the feeling that I'm not. I was feeling so good about making twice as much money a month as I had previously and having income...then I realized that I need to save money for August when I move. :)

And I wanted to buy a suit...

a few more months in the leopard print suit won't kill your reputation that much (except with other pimps that can afford the zebra print)

I can live without a suit. I am going to my sister's wedding right after I move. I have blazers and shirts and ties...just no formal suit. I had one - two actually - but one was too small for me in December and the other ripped after a job interview.

Of course, all of this is assuming that I need $500 to move. If I end up spending less than that to move, I might be able to get a suit before the wedding.

Also, I WISH I had a leopard print suit.

Two famous funny italian songs, one about a not corresponded love and another one that is surreal and disturbing.
Do not ask me why i did it, i just was in the mood for translations... (lyrics under spoiler)

PANDEMONIUM - TU FAI SCHIFO SEMPRE (YOU SUCK ALWAYS) - 1979

Spoiler

ELIO E LE STORIE TESE - IL VITELLO DAI PIEDI DI BALSA (THE CALF WITH THE FEET OF BALSA) - 1992
(Of course it's not the official video. Anyway, if you have a good ear, you can easily find a Pink Floyd tribute at a certain point)

With summer here, I've got to find ways to keep the kitty cool. I forgot to turn the air conditioner on when I got home and Cosmo started wheezing a bit, so I should probably look at some stuff to keep him cool during the summer months. I know cats don't like water, but if you take a damp cloth and just pat the cat with it, it'll keep him cool. Some cats love water, but most of them hate it.
