Got a nice call from my boss at work who wanted to check up on me (as well as others who live downtown). She said that I could have as much time off as I want until it was safe enough to come back to work and the flooding situation has been handled.

And yes, I do know a few. One of my friends is transgender, and another is gender dysphoric, and I've met some of their friends in the same boat. ZOMG JIMMY HAS A SOCIAL LIFE

It means that either people casually say to you they're transgendered or you have dozens of close friends.

I'm going to attempt to go to work today. The LRT shuttle bus is running from downtown to Heritage station. From there, I'll take the train down to Shawnessy and head to work.
