Fun fact. In order to load the entire Earth into FSX it would need 664.387 TB of RAM in order to do so (most ground textures are 1024x1024). That does not include autogen scenery (buildings, trees), clouds, etc. Even to render the visible portion around the aircraft would take 5.4 GB of RAM (64 square miles, according to Microsoft). According to one of the guys who worked on it, despite certain limitations, he said FSX's engine holds up quite well even today, because there is no other like it in existence.

So, I just learned a fun little "I want to destroy the government" fact today. Apparently there is a part of the Affordable Care Act (commonly known as "Obamacare") that mandates that anyone living in Washington DC getting individual health insurance (anyone who doesn't get it through their employer) has to get it through the government marketplace. This means I have no choice but to get the over priced worthless health insurance plan...or say "fuck it" and bet that the IRS won't bother checking on me.
