Saw Truckfighters live in Antwerp this evening, it was a damn good gig indeed. Catching the guitarist's shirt was a plus as well.

So, apparently because I bought a recent Nvidia card, I got a free copy of Rise of the Triad. That means my expensive video card came with a $20 mail in rebate and a $40 video game.

You're right. For some reason I had it in my head that it was more. Still, that is basically a $35 rebate. And the card is so much better than my old card I bought and installed like 4 or 5 years ago. Now that I'm employed and all that shit, I feel like I can buy myself some nice things every once in a while...then I found out I had to buy health insurance or bet that the IRS won't put the work into auditing me.

Back in the day a custom username for your site (in the address bar) was a premium feature. The free sites, you had this huge long URL.

Threw together another an old Intel Dual Core PC out of bits I had laying around.
I needed a HD though, so I got an old 500 GB Seagate External USB drive and smashed the cover off it and pulled the HD out of that.
All good now.
Amazing the kind of computer parts you can find at the dump....

I've got some old computers I've got piled up in my place that I should go recycle. One is from 2004. The other is from 2006. I pulled the hard drives out, but the rest of it still needs to be recycled.

You really should see a doctor, I saw on TV a guy who got his penis amputed because of that.

You can change that setting in System Preferences. I do it whenever I have to work on my dad's laptop changing settings, and it's gonna take a while.
