The PS3 version has also leaked.

The Pirate Bay shows torrent files for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game, but only the former has been confirmed to work. It seems the PC version is still under wraps for now.

So the beta is free anyway? I don't understand why people would torrent it since then it can only be downloaded on a pc. I don't have a console but I'm guessing they can't download torrents.

Epic are well-known PC havers and sho-nuff, Bulletstorm is a piss-poor arse-wipe console port on the PC. Loads haven't been able to play due to bugs and the dreaded GFWL pestilence.

Yet again, Epic shaft up the PC user. Why don't they just not bother with a PC port in the first place and save everyone the heart-ache?

There is even the old save-game problem from GoW on the PC making an un-welcome second appearance.

Obviously it was an un-happy PC gamer at Epic who decided to save all us PC users the trouble of buying yet another Piece of shit Console port.

You could at least get your details right.

I'm up to 7 hours and still not finished.
Yes, there's no jump button... but really is this that big a deal? You don't even miss it while playing, and in most FPS jumping just seems odd.
The game was developed as a single player experience, the MP was never intended to be "big"....
And the game was NOT made by Epic. It was developed by People Can Fly, the makers of Painkiller. Epic only produced it and helped with polish and testing.

Bulletstorm it's PCF's baby, the project they started after they had finished Painkiller.

And the game was developed on the PC, then scaled down to work on the consoles. The issues people are having with the game are typical driver incompatibilities and such. And really, the people having problems are a very small minority. Out of all the people I know and talk with that have the game, I've found one who had problems getting the game running.
And all he had to do to fix it was reinstall Windows LIVE.

Saw the commercial a few times on the TV. Each time, it only makes me think of DNF and how freakin epic it's gonna be to see that commercial. I'm gonna be like, "Look! There it is! Duke Nukem Forever!". Man I can't wait!

I played through the game maxed out on PC without any issues. The graphics are fantastic, the game is fast paced and stupidly fun and there is plenty of gore. :P
You guys should check it out if you haven't already. It's well worth the money. :D

That's been in my thoughts since I saw the first trailer. What are the min/recommended sys requirements?

You are joking right?
Do you actually intend to play DNF with a 6100, when it comes out?
If you do, then I can guarantee that you won't be playing it on your pc. Either it won't start at all or if it does, it will lag so much that it will simply be unplayable.
As for bulletstorm, don't even think about it...

I wasn't joking about the graphic card my PC has. Note I did say my card would fail. So I do indeed know I must replace this on-board one with something a lot better.

Might as well make this the proper Bulletstorm thread instead of making a new one.

So Bulletstorm is the closest game to Duke Nukem Forever coming out this year, or in the last few years IMO. Certain aspects of its gameplay were clearly inspired by DNF, and this is no secret, and even their engines are (very) distantly related.
I played the PC demo, and it seems ok. It's got attitude, the gameplay is unique, I'd even say fun, using the environment to your advantage like that. The problem is the demo for the PC at least was fairly short and it's difficult to tell if the gameplay would get repetitive after a while.

So if anyone here's played bulletstorm, what do you think of the game?

The last hour of gameplay is a bit boring because of the cramped areas, but overall - it's awesome, really worth trying out

I still keep thinking Bulletstorm is a walk in the park compared to DNF.
Yep, i've played it and i've finished it.

I do think it's a good game with great one-liners, action and uuhm monsters i guess, but i don't think it can compete with DNF's humor, action and babes.

I have not played BulletStorm yet, but I don't see it as any competition for Duke Nukem Forever simply because it represents only one Aspect of a Duke Nukem type game.

While the lines are funny from what I have seen, and the game play is interesting. I will probably buy it when I get my PS3, I still don't see it as anything like Duke Nukem Forever.

With the humorous "Shrinkage" video that came out this morning, I am now completely at ease with every aspect of Duke Nukem this far. Is is funny, it is sexy, it is a violent first person shooter... it is serious business in a comedy over the top world that IS Dukes world to me.

I can't wait...

It's pretty good, the sweary lines can get a bit old and rather ridiculous at times. I enjoyed it though, there are some pretty interesting ways of killing your foe's and some fun weapons to boot. I recommend those who feel like getting it to wait until the price drops, GFWL is a pain in the arse on the PC version.
